It's amazing how they start low and proceed gradually up. It's never a sudden different. And it is startling how each one aims for a little bit higher up than the one before him. It is because they only target the last one and the same person will keep scoring higher than the one before.

They did pretty good and The (second) Girl that Jumped to put the Sticker did the best. The Guyz are just challenging themselves, which always happens, mostly in the concept of Physicality. At last they were not even jumping and just climbing the slant wall.

I remember a TV show from 1980 called "that's incredible", and there was a guest on there that could run up to a building wall like this without the pad and reach the roof and climb over it. Very impressive.

My friend and I used to do the same thing. We called it running up the wall. When I was in the ARMY, I showed a buddy how it worked. I ran up the wall at a local Mall, at one of the entrances, and touched the ceiling. You need sneakers with a great grip, or you'll eat it hard.

I always loved it when my girls where at their competitive cheer gyms and the coaches started playing around like this. The kids had so much fun watching them and so did the parents 😹

As one of those kinds of teachers, these things usually are made intense competition between the teachers because half the kids are cheering for one and the other half cheering for the other. Had the best 1 v 1 dodgeball game against a co-teacher while the kids were going insane and some even putting bets on the line on who would win 😂
The kids love teacher/coach drama. Whether it's friendly competition or if the coach of 4 years is pregnant with the new guy's kid!

This is the reason why i always have my friend go do a challenge first, so i can see his result and do the best as i can to beat it. Every time each person put a post-it on the wall it motivates the next person to do better and they motivate each other by being competitive. Competition builds character and makes you even better each time you are challenged.
Except the poor little girls who don't stand a chance of winning now. Why?

Creating a scenario for children to compete against grown, male athletes doesn't provide them with an environment within which they can even learn from failure. If they were to compete with boys in the same age group that would be a big challenge but I think that would be more healthy competition. There's a difference between disappointment and utter defeat. These girls already know they can't compete with [grown] men. They've most likely already accepted this, because it's not a real benchmark. It's the elephant in the room. Knowing that, it begs the question, why? So someone can be cruel and shove it further into their faces?

@@emilioruben7001 I don't totally disagree with this and I realized that they were teachers after watching it a few more times. Adults should get to play stuff like that too. It can absolutely be inspiring to watch your mentors show you their skills but it can also be discouraging to watch someone do it too much, especially when you know they have advantages like time and years over you. There is no replacement for that. Having been a teacher at different times in my life, it is ultimately about the student. There's a certain line you walk as a teacher to make sure that enthusiasm doesn't turn into discouragement. It's the same reason you don't bolt ahead of your 5 year old -every- time they challenge you to a race. They'd feel like they could never win and eventually they wouldn't try anymore.

I think I could put it on the ceiling. If I could get my foot to the top edge of the wedge (which I think I could), I could jump towards those white metal truss supports. From there I could climb up enough to slap the sticky note on the ceiling.

The most impressive was actually the second girl that went. She was the only one who didn’t run up the wall. She just exploded off of 2 feet and got a good vertical for her age/ size.
