Iam a pastor at an old age but when l listen to Derek prince l feel like lam now starting my Christian life. What a blessing.
Wow🙏🙌🏻⛈️🌈, what a humble admission for you, as a Pastor, to make.
I was raised by my Grandfather, a wonderful preacher, who gave me such a great foundation.
You are the kind of Pastor we need today; one who keeps learning the Word with such humility as you exhibit.
His still a blessing for many people, including me, for the mercy of the Lord Yeshua.
I am a pastor who struggled with the call of God upon my life. I knew in my inner core that I was lacking something. I couldn't put a name on what it was. But there was just an emptiness in my spirit.
Until I was led by the Holy Spirit to Derek Prince.
The funny thing is, He led me to brother Kenneth Hagen, Archibishp Benson Idhosa and then to DPM. I am now certain of what I lacked earlier. My hunger has now been satisfied. I am not certain of God's call upon my life and my ministry that has been placed under my stewardship.
Thank you for opening my eyes to see what God has prepared for me and the flock he has called me to Shepherd as his servant.

I can see that happening for sure. There's just no one that I know of that preaches every inch of the Word as Prince did.
He has shown me what I should require of the church I choose. I am looking for one near me that believes the precipices that Prince lays out.
I have narrowed it down to a United Methodist Church, and surprisingly, a modern Pentacostal Church, both near me.
I believe I would be most at home in the Methodist, but they don't have a water immersion baptismal, which I've come to believe is necessary for all Christians.
How God gifted Brother Prince! We thank God for sending this man to teach His Word🙏🙌🏻⛈️🌈

His teachings are so simple, very direct..and his humbleness and insistence to glorify only God Jesus in everything and endorsing only God's WORD as final authority is something that's understood by few in these last days...

This is wonderful, very simple, straightforward Biblical teaching which many in todays UK Churches know nothing about...I do not recall my father praying over me ever. This is how it should be, as you and I have heard it this day

I don't feel like I'm a rebellious person I feel like I have such a hunger for truth and I don't find it in the churches. I see their examples, they're cowardlyness, the interpretations of the Bible are so limited, and the discipline of the congregation, but I live in a small town and there's really not a lot to choose from. I'm very strong in my belief and I have such a hunger for God's word and I hear his voice everywhere and all my decisions, the Lord wakes me at night and helps me find the right message to listen to and sometimes I'm 10 to 20 hours a day studying and listening. Perhaps one day I'll find a congregation I truly believe in the Lord and doesn't take vaccines and find themselves sick because the filed foods that they eat. God bless and keep all of you who works through seekers. And God bless these wonderful teachers like Derek Prince

I have the same challenge. I left the last organised church about 5 months ago. The next one I attended was led by a man who claimed that believers are gods and that they can activate angels to serve them. He held on to these heresies even when I pointed to Scriptures that debunked them. I left there for another fellowship held in a friend's house. I had to flee again when they made some blasphemous comments about the Bible. For instance, they said that the early church erred by engaging in fasting and that the practice is part of Judaism. On the other hand, virtually all the denominations in my country Nigeria preach prosperity gospel. I can't even step into any of them at any cost. Does this make me a rebel? I would say yes to the extent that I would not conform to man's originated religion. I am a nonconformist and proud of it. Romans 12:2 says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and complete will of God." Now, I am convinced that Christmas and Easter celebrations are not Scriptural, so I won't participate in them anymore. Does this make me a rebel? Let God be the judge!

Why would he have been reluctant to pray for that guy that had been electrocuted? I’m a new believer so I’m just trying to understand.
Maybe because he still needed to recover from whatever affliction he was talking about
Derek's wife laid hands and prayed though, it seems she wasn't afflicted by it
Even when a person is anointed by God or has the gift of healing, the person cannot afford to be presumptuous by thinking that God would have him pray for everyone. Why? Because no man controls the Holy Spirit. His reluctance wasn't from the flesh. He had to be sure that God endorsed the transaction. Even the Lord Jesus Christ did not operate in the flesh. When His brothers wanted Him to go to the Feast of Tabernacles with them, He refused because He said that His time had not come. John 7:6. Remember that He said in John 5:30, "I can do nothing by Myself, I judge only as I hear." Though God does not live in time, He has dispensations and we must learn to walk and be led by the Holy Spirit.

The Catholic and Orthodox Churches base their CULT of RELICS on this event?
I personaly don't agree with the cult of relics. Also, in support of the same rituals, they give the example of the woman who was healed by touching Jesus garment. So they believe there is power in dead saints. Each ortodox church is supposed to have some kind of RELIC (Dead person or partial components) which is a big business and money maker bz they have only in European churches approximately 25 dead bodies o St John? Also all kinds of of "sacred" objects
On a different note, Some Born Again CHRISTIANS say some of the GIFTS of the Spirit are no longer active... One of them is speaking in tongues? So, if Speaking in tongues is still active, so is taking up snakes and drinking anything deadly?

I totaly agree with Mr. Prince teachings, very very true and inspiring, but I am not sure about the "speaking in tongues"
To me, at the day of the Pentacost, the languages were all recognisable...no gibberish...pardon my saying..tell me how I am wrong
@Marianne Huston, I hope I'll answer by say in all your points and questions, if one is not taught then one doesn't know, one may deny, refute or disbelieve.
Ok. But in the witness issue, this needs to be considered in the context of how abusers and predators work. In particular the issue of child abuse and other forms of spiritual abuse in the church. You must make sure you have training and experts appointed to manage accusations who understand a trauma response etc. this approach just be abuse and trauma informed.

Marker 24 pastor princess suggesting that people become a member of a church and trust the elders well I don't trust any of the elders in my church. They eat crap food they're selfish some of them are ridiculously stupid as far as their humor it's just not a good situation that I'm in and other churches that I've tried to go to they don't even understand the principles of the Bible. So I am a butt by myself with countless countless videos of Derek Prince and many other good teachers. So not always are the elders of a church the people that you can go to and trust. And I'm okay with that because there's so many wonderful teachers online and I don't feel alone. Glory be to God no matter where we are
Marker 39. This is where I have a big problem with 99% of the churches. We live on a flat and stationary Earth and as much as I love Derek Prince and respect his work he has not listened to the Bible he is not listening to God's word God is very clear as to what the earth looks like he says it in Genesis 1:4 that he separated the water snow Waters and he placed the firmament to separate them the word still and and stationary is throughout the Bible. I am so disappointed and so many leaders that would listen to a caprinious description of the Earth, it's like believing an evolution these are deceptions from Satan. Think about it clearly think about it. And there are tons and tons of videos on the flat Earth. More people have come back to to the Lord because they now can see where he is he is so close to us. Polaris is a center. Please you guys do some research on your own the Earth is not as spinning globe out there with billions of planets and tons of solar systems where God can't be found. He is right above Polaris that's why he can see the entire Earth. I'm so sad to hear Derek Prince talk about this deception and he himself has believed it it's a very very sad day for me
