This is encouraging to me, honestly. I’m a young adult and aspire to be a mom and homemaker (that is my biggest wish) and often being a homemaker is frowned upon in society as not being a “real job” or not being the best you can be, which is silly. I'm so happy I'm not the only person who turns the lights off in rooms as they're done cleaning them! I mentioned it to somebody a couple of months ago and they looked at me like I was crazy!
I always clean like this before taking long trips! It’s so nice to come back to clean sheets and clean bathroom and kitchen! Then I can focus on laundry and putting stuff immediately away.

Loved all of your little tips such as the magnets for hair pins and using windex on counters after to make them shiny! 💞 I clean a lot like you at least once a week so this was a very helpful video!
I hope you enjoyed the compression socks. I stand on my feet all day long and I wear compression socks all the time - my legs feel so much better after I started using them. Also I have compression sleeves for my achy arms - what a blessing! Speaking of Emser salt, we have cough drops with it - the best when ever I get a cold. What a perfect setup for her basketsliding! The pink/orange slime is fun and it's scented, but avoid getting it into fabric at all costs. My daughter received some as a gift from Grammy and Grampy who got it at the dollar store and if you don't get it up right away, then you need to soak the fabric in vinegar and water and it's supposed to dissolve. I got almost all of it up off of the carpet. I scraped up what I could with a spoon, but there is still residue and the corner of our carpet is tinted orange now. At least it is the end that is under that table. I've never taken Mucinex before, but I did take Night Time NyQuil and blacked out. That was that last time I ever took any form of NyQuil.
Megan, I was just told by my doctor to take Mucinex, but I have adrenal issues so I never did. I'm so glad I didn't! What I did was keep a scarf around my neck all day, blankets covering my chest at night, a hot water bottle on my chest often throughout the day (a heating pad is good to), ears covered when outside, lots of hot water (yes, hot. A little lemon is good in it). Heat heals. I am very leery of taking any kind of meds. Lots of raw garlic helps, too, but feed it to your husband also so he won't notice the smell! :) Editing because I forgot to mention Arm and Hammer Simply Saline nasal spray. I use it morning and night and sometimes in between, even when I don't have a cold. There are so many things we can do rather than medications... but, I know meds are needed at times.

Girl! Invest in some Norwex cloths and you won't ever need to use different toxic cleaners. They're amazing! I haven't bought any cleaning products for 3+ years. They also have a body cloth which has replaced our face wash, makeup remover, body wash, and shaving cream.

I let out a good giggle when you showed the compression socks, because in the last week I had to go out and buy some because my legs had gone from very little swelling to looking like I had cornbread feet literally over night. I'd never worn them before either, but I quite like them. I'm now all baby in the front, so I either have to sleep with them on so I can get dressed easily for work, or I have to wake up my poor husband before I leave for work at 430am to put them on me because I literally can't get to my feet and angle myself right to get them on. I keep reminding him we've only got a few more short weeks of this routine (not that he'll get much more uninterrupted sleep when our little one comes) 😂
Mucinex DM & Flonase are the Only meds my husband's MD lets him take. He's been on Mucinex for 2 weeks. I just found out there's a 400mg/4hr and a 1200mg/12hr too! We switched to the higher dose for him. He's still coughing, but he can get thru the day with a little more energy. I get so sick to my stomach on it with cramping and etc. I've heard of another husband who gets sick on it like that. I'm glad you said drinking water. It does say take with a full glass of water. You take care! And have a good trip! Nice video = a lot of work done! I use pine-sol too, my baby son loved the smell. Lol. I began vacuuming the hair from the shower 1st before wiping it down, that's my biggest peeve about cleaning tubs & showers and the difficult rinsing! A lot better now!
I can't take Mucinex! It makes me feel dizzy and my heart flutters. When I close my eyes I feel like I'm falling down. I had never heard of anyone else reacting that way. Have fun in Florida! I went when I was 7 months pregnant with my son but it was in the summer. I was very glad to get out of the car and stretch when we arrived!

I guess when I can't find cute clothes for her at at the store! My mom always started sewing for us regularly around school age. That's when the styles at the store start to have really wide necks and short skirts. Also, at home I'm all about comfort for her at this age!

Loved watching you and excellent organization. Just a little concerned with the toxic chemicals you are exposing you and your family. Ever heard of Norwex? It is toxin free and saves a lot of time and money. Less toxic cleaners for your children to swallow as well. Safe for them to even help you.
I love your video's Very much but the fishbowl brought tears in my eyes. It's far to small and round isnt the best either. I hope you can change it in something where the fish really can swim

My Mom used white vinegar to clean pretty well everything. It disinfects and is biodegradable.

My husband had a very similar reaction to Musinex - he actually ended up passing out! Scared me to death! We won’t use it anymore😕
