@@123chinese6 thanks, glad U see it that way. IMHO the HSK is a money making racket abd a sad joke. Those who run it are in the illusion business. Just like the Goethe, the Cambridge, the Alliance française etc rackets. The only real thing IS the real thing, to get to NATIVE LEVEL, nothing else matters, ie understand the jokes, the fine print, to be able to laugh alongside natives.... Wish i were there already. Nice to know y'all.

Hsk is mainly for those who need a certificate to study in a Chinese uni, or job application. The daily Chinese can be a lot more complicated.
