My heart beats for this kind of retro style wrestling games. I need games like this beside WWE 2K24. I love so far Fire Pro Wrestling World + Retromania Wrestling and also Ultra Pro Wrestling. Such amazing games for wrestling fans!!!
Jerry Lynn is such an awesome acquisition. The guy is a real class act in real life and such a great worker. He gave RVD some of his very best matches…and gave any of you guys seen rvds match catalog, that’s saying something.

I love the extreme influence this game has. Hopefully with the not long ago release of retro mania we can get the likes of lod, Austin idol, Nikita, Austin idol, Curtis Hughes, James storm, etc. But a couple of names I’d love to see make it are mark and jay briscoe. That’d be a good team to go up with the motorcity machine guns.
Shame the demo is still a few months away from being released but damn this game is gonna be cool and it will be the only game that is a true spiritual successor to the AKi games (unlike that AEW dumpster fire game)

Just so you guys know. Your efforts are apparent here. You’ve managed to piece together an awesome cast this far. If the gameplay is there with fun modes at least what we had in no mercy, then we’ve got a real banger here. I hope you guys are rewarded greatly for your efforts. This is the one type of game I’d like to see revitalized, and you guys I have high hopes will make that happen. Best of luck!
@@UltraProWrestling I hope so. I’m happy to support you all within reason. I just worry the conversation surrounding the game will be negative due to the amount of DLC available (similar to Dragon’s Dogma 2 recently). If it’s fairly priced then it will be a non issue.
@@gobblegobble7 yeah we will definitely be taking everything in to consideration as price gouging is certainly not the point of us doing this. This about giving back to the wrestlers while also giving fans a wrestling game they can enjoy and support.
Totally! Bull Nakano, Missy Hyatt, & Francine are already in, but there's a wealth of great female wrestlers that could join them. (Fingers crossed for my 5 Horsewomen Aja Kong, Ayako Hamada, Cheerleader Melissa, Manami Toyota, & Amazing Kong)
RVD is probably my all time favorite ECW guy, but I think his move set would be probably the hardest of any to pull off in this game. It could be done sure but I’m thinking some of his key finishers relied so heavily on him using the environment it’s just unlike anything I’ve seen in the AKI engine. RVD is up there as my all time favorite in any promotion and I will say I’ve never seen a wrestler as inventive and as unorthodox as RVD. He’s so unlike my all time favorite Bret hart but I love him for it all the same.

Oh man, CW Anderson was awesome in the King of Colosseum games. Only a little disappointed not to see Steve Corino in there though.
