Not only did Bella do a fantastic job of portraying Ellie and making the character a complicated flesh and blood person rather than just a live action version of the game character but it's so special to see the way that Bella is handling all the attention that being that good in something brings. They seem to be so grounded and sure of who they are and what are the things that matter and what are those that don't. There are many things about acting that can be taught and learned but the ability to inhabit a character and make others believe not only that you are that person but feel like they know the person you are portraying rather than just as the actor that is the part that is talent and cannot be taught. An example would be singers in music. There are plenty of singers who have pleasant voices, can sing on key and do the technical things that good singing requires. But they lack a certain quality, that thing that makes them special, that makes you stop when searching the dial for something to listen to. Something about what they bring of themselves that others can recognize and latch on to when they hear it. It demands your attention without seeming to be overtly demanding. Bella has this. Knowing the story of the second game, although not knowing how Craig and Neil will handle it, I'm excited to see what Bella will do with Elli's journey which the first season was just a taste of in comparison.
I'm happy Bella watched some of the videos, especially Ellie and Dina, because it shows how interested they are in it. And the story really is fantastic. I fully believe Bella will be even more incredible in Season 2. Nice interview.

Bella’s performance was absolutely phenomenal. All actors were incredible but her performance was the most captivating to me. She’s gonna get big.
