    Theo Stack is a very clever guy. He used to produce parts for Linn turntables until recently. I’m lucky enough to own an Alto sub-chassis and armboard and together they transformed the Linn sound. The Auva 70s are on my wishlist right now.

      @@VinylLatte thanks! ill contact them when i get a chance, any recommendations?
      personally ive only started getting into audio a little over a year ago after rediscovering my old model 9 speakers and marantz 1150 amp
      I built the sasandu tx speakers based on the open source plans from sb acoustics and they cost ~6000 cad - you should check them out if you ever get a chance
      ive noticed that proper isolation from the floor creates quite a noticeable improvement to overall sound through all the reviews ive seen lately but their a bit pricy
      currently the speakers sit on a bit of stick on felt but they transfer quite a bit of vibrations to the floor. proper isolation feet could make a huge difference!

    • @VinylLatte
      @VinylLatte  หลายเดือนก่อน

      👋 When you email them, provide them with the make and model of your speakers and ask for what will be compatible. If your speaker sit flat against the floor, then you may not be able to screw on the AUVAs, instead, you can rest the speakers on top of them. This is not uncommon and is what I plan to do when I bring a REL sub into the room. Since the REL does not have detachable feet, I’ll rest the sub on a set of four AUVAs.
      The AUVAs come in three options. They all support the same weight, what you get stepping up is more isolation from the floor-and it does make a difference. In the video, I reviewed the AUVA 50s, which drastically increased the sound in my room. Currently, I am auditioning the 70s and, wow. What a difference. Everything is just “more”. I plan to release a review of them shortly, so I won’t spoil all the details, but let me say, it has me wanting to get a set of the 100s now.
      To bring this home, drop Stack Audio a line. Let them know we chatted, they’ll take great care of you. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out again. I’ll help as much as I can.
      Cheers, and happy listening 🙌

    Got the Auva 50's under my KEF R3 Meta. I got them on KEF S3 stands filled with sand, so each speaker setup i 28 kg.
    I must say I think they work great. The precision and control of notes, start and decay, soundstage all improved. Have never had this control in the bass, timing of notes and no muddiness. A keeper 👍

    You seem to be pitching these feet. Why dont you show a comparison. Do a shoot out between these Auva feet and washing machine vibration feet. The washing machine feet would be way over engineered for a speakers weight but thats what great audio is all about. It would make a great video

    I use One Thing Audio Quad 57's I tried Auva 50's I was hooked on what Auvas do, so then 70's I could not wait & fitted Auva 100's they have transformed my Quads with unbelievable bass , mids & treble I use Auva EQ's under pre & power amps, DAC & it's LPSU also under the Virgin box & DVD player which not only improved the sound but the TV picture as well ! if you can try the Auva 70's & preferably the Auva 100's when you will discover even more than you have already found.

    $15000 speakers significantly improve that much just by changing the feet? seems a bit suspect to me.

      Absolutely! There are plenty of others that have experienced the same level of improvement on much more expensive speakers. Best thing is to try them for yourself and take advantage of their 60-day return policy if you don’t notice any improvement on your speakers.

If you're skeptical, I totally get it-why not take advantage of the money-back guarantee and try it for yourself? If you don't hear a difference, just return it. Funny thing, though-I know you heard a difference because it's pretty clear in the before and after video! 😄

    Unnecessary expensive speaker feet! Are you working with this company???? It’s apparent your acting out this presentation Lifting your speakers with these miraculous feet will blow your minds!!! I doubt it!!!

    • @VinylLatte
      @VinylLatte  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I totally get your skepticism-I was in the same boat before I tried them out myself. That’s actually why I included the before and after footage in the video. Using the little mic on the Pocket Osmo 3, I was able to capture the audible difference, though I have to say it’s nothing like hearing them in person. The impact really surprised me, and I just wanted to share that experience. But hey, I appreciate your candor!

      I've been through the tweeking merry go round in the past, they sometimes do change the sound, but after a while you realize it was not necessarily better just different. We audiophile often just get tired of the same sound and proceed to change the flavour mistaking it for upgrades. Very good sales pitch though.

    • @VinylLatte
      @VinylLatte  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I appreciate your perspective, and I completely understand where you're coming from. This isn't a sales pitch; I just wanted to share my experience because it genuinely blew me away. That said, I always think it's best to try things out for yourself, and with the money-back return policy, there's really nothing to lose. If it doesn't make a difference for you, you can always send it back.

      @@VinylLattedon’t take offence but if the terrible mic on the pocket 3 (of which I have two for events work) can show a difference after processing and recording in a crushed bitrate lossy format - you must have accidentally changed something else. Changing one type of feet to another cannot create such a change to go through that audio recording chain and manifest. Think about logically.

    • @VinylLatte
      @VinylLatte  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@UXXV Thank you for your comment, and I completely understand where you're coming from. However, I can assure you that nothing else was changed during the test. The reason I'm so meticulous about this is because I prioritize accuracy and honesty in my reviews above all else. There’s no benefit for me to manipulate the results since I don't earn any commission whether people buy these products or not. What I do stand to lose is credibility if I provide misleading information, and that's something I'm not willing to risk. My goal is to provide the most transparent and trustworthy content possible, so you can feel confident in the assessments I share.

    • @cengeb
      @cengeb 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@VinylLatte It's your burden to PROVE your results. Just making the statement isn't facts, but conjecture. What changed, what parameter changed, that is scientifically measurable, and repeatable? Do you know just moving your head a mere few inches can affect how you perceive what you hear, ears work that way you know. Why is it, all these magic products are always an incredible, majestic transformation, that only these few oddball companies know, but major mfgs of audio equipment, don't? Hmmm. Again, what parameter changed, that you can prove. I didn't hear any changes. Now what do you say?

      I understand that skepticism is part of the journey when exploring high-quality audio accessories. However, I encourage you to check out the numerous positive reviews from both customers and experts who have experimented with the AUVAs in their setups. Their experiences speak volumes about the tangible improvements in clarity and soundstage.
      To ease any doubts, Stack Audio offers a 60-day money-back guarantee (it was 30-days at the time of recording), allowing you to experience the difference risk-free in your own environment. Sometimes, hearing is believing! 😊
