Isn’t it so ironic that a man who's written a book about substance abuse gets charged with a DUI involving the death of 3 people. It's like he's telling his audience one thing, yet fails to apply in his own life what he's taught his audience. This man is a hypocrite at his finest.
I Wholeheartedly agree! The hypocrisy of it all. He was a substance abuse counselor as well and written a book also. How phony are some of these addiction counselors are they supposed to be helping others recover. When they're still using themselves 😢

My aunt manages a discount retail store with a popular name. In their state, it is illegal to sell a drunk more alcohol. She and the employees usually have to call the police. She also has a weapon. It is a common cause of problems for what is not the best paying job.

@@carrington2949murder involves intent. It's be impossible for the prosecution to prove that he AND the 18 beer Deer Park guy who drove into the nail salon formed an intent to use their cars to kill people.

Alot of people do this while many relatives & friends say nothing to their loved one's when they are aware of this. Instead they may even ask to be dropped off by the driver who they've sat with & watched consume beer, wine or any other alcohol. NYC Corrections & NYPD officers known to this, just go to one of their frequented bars & you'll see for yourself. With weed now legal, all the pills people are taking to get high or prescribed medically & alcohol being readily available it's sad that a tool isn't mandated in all cars that keeps all drivers vehicles from starting without breathing out into a breathalyzer.

I think he is grieving his choices. I don't think he should not be punished, he did commit the crimes. Yet I think his head down is clearly shame and guilt. I think he is judging himself harshly and it is because he is a counselor. He maybe s*icidal and depressed. He may wish he had not survived the crash and definitely feels remorse. It is so very sad that no amount of remorse will bring back those people's family. Death is finite, he cannot go back and undo his bad choices. What happened to calling an uber?

He was my director at a former agency where I worked. Within a couple of weeks, I felt compelled to quit due to his intimidating, threatening, and entitled behavior. Another coworker and I felt so uncomfortable that we had to leave the building. Despite our complaints to management, no action was taken.
May they rest in peace. Everybody who drinks and drives somehow thinks that it is other people who cause accidents while drunk, not them.

Drinking and driving in 2024 despite 49 YEARS of "drink responsibly" PSAs and messages. No excuse! I wish bars would take an active role in this. For example, they could take the keys of all patrons when they arrive and only hand them back when they pass a breath test. If they fail, the bar could call an Uber, Lyft, taxi, or someone on their behalf, but they absolutely won't give them their keys back.
