- Bricks are often made of a lightweight rock called shale. It's ground up into a thick paste that is pressed into the standard brick shape. Then the bricks are cooked in a giant oven at 1,040 degrees Celsius. That's almost 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit!

I have been looking on TH-cam at how bricks and the materials they are made of are created. Usually, it is made in a simple way (like the ancient method), but this video shows bricks being created by using complicated tools, machines, and all sorts of things shown right here.
