in the content and structure section, in the investigation heading what does the sentence “existing solutions, systems or ideas that are aligned to the brief” mean? like, do you pick a topic that’s supposed to have a solution or system? and also what does “system” refer to similarly, in the plan and design heading, what does “technologies” mean and refer to?
"Existing Solutions" I imagine would be existing data websites (information systems) such as CSO, data.gov.ie etc. These websites show nice graphs, give insights and have a database in the backend, just like this year's project. In plan and design, "technologies" refers to languages eg python, HTML, CSS, Python Flask and modules/libraries eg. plotly, pandas, pygal, numpy and also IDEs such as Thonny, VScode, Notepad++
