Thank you for this clear information. im going tomorrow for this treatment, even my surgery have told me this. my head wasn't really clear at that moment. The next morning im going for a dubbel mastectomy as flat chest not doing a reconstruction. Thank you for this video 🫶
Gosh technology is amazing the way it can find the sentinel lymph nodes. Again I wondered why I went to nuclear medicine on the morning of my surgery. Thank you for explaining this Dr Tasha x
Interesting. I had lobular cancer 3 yrs ago . 6mm plus 3/4 nodes were cancerous. My surgeon went back in and took a further 18 . No cancer found. My surgeon was surprised as nodes looked normal on mri also by feeling they weren't up . Yet he went in and seen the main was . But how do you know which way to go as nodes branch out in different ways ?
There are anatomical landmarks in the armpit that tells us where lymph nodes are. Lobular cancer can be quite sneaky and we do find cancer cells in nodes when they look normal on imaging.
I still get arm pit pain, nearly a year on. They removed 5 of mine: I think they were stuck together. Also I have to be different. I had severe pain in the first few weeks!
I have to get a Aux lymph node biopsy next week. I have never been diagnosed with anything cancer related. But I have things I feel in breast that they said were most likely cysts. I cannot afford the surgery. It's 4k (my deductible) I keep seeing videos about why they choose this procedure. I'm scared. My grandmother had breast cancer. I don't know what to do.
I needed to here this because I was so lost I'm going to get ready for my surgery thank you 💓
I am glad it was helpful Alicia. Wishing you all the best for your upcoming surgery 🙏🏽

Hi, can you make a video going over the different bi-rads categories?
That is a great idea. Will consider if for a future video 👍🏽

So sorry to hear that. There are a lot of nerves in the arm pits so for some it can be quite sensitive.
