The most important thing is if it serves the song, can something be over autotuned? For sure, Rap has that problem a lot, especially mumble rap. But I think a lot of it is usually fine, because you still have to sing well for autotune to work anyway
@@Killdeer25 Absolutely. I love most of Super Junior's heavily autotuned songs and there's a couple of Japanese bands that I listen to that use a lot of autotune as well. On the flip side, there's a couple of Kpop groups who use a lot of autotune in their music and I find the way they use it to be really unpleasant. Like an uncomfortable sensation in my ears. There's nothing wrong with using autotune as an effect, it just depends how you use it, I guess. I don't dislike Opera. I still listen to it, just not as often as I listen to Suju's other autotune anthems.
Opera is another one of my most favorite song! The song is sung in Japanese and was released in puzzle pieces for each member. I bought the who puzzle. I love Super Junior, I love doing puzzles, I love Phantom of the Opera, so, perfect song for me.

Another one I hadn't heard and it was so fun! I have nothing bad to say about autotune dance music when it's this much fun. Not every song needs to blow your mind with technicality and vocals and whatnot. Sometimes you just want to dance! Or in my case bounce my head to the music at my desk while I work. 🕺💻🥳
I do have Superman coming tomorrow, I did check out portions from a few of the SS for audio problems but I don't remember which one I ended up doing now lol terrible memory 😅
The japanese version of "Opera" was a hit in Japan but I think it was because of the amazing concept of its MV. Personally this is one of the few Super Junior songs that I prefer to watch the official MV more than their live performances. I'm having fun watching your reactions, thank you 💙

Traveler or Dorothy by KRY is vocal bliss. Islands for the whole group... there are several but that's the first that popped in my head.
