9/16/23. Some of the best videos i Bosch did of the Shabani family came from this enclosure. I've had so many laughed at the crazy, but fun-loving Shabani here. Granted, he was younger and so were Kiyo and Annie, so they played more and were so adorable at this age. Now that they are in their new enclosure 5 years later, we still love Shabani and how he interacts with his family. The Shabani family is the best. There's never a dull moment watching these magnificent creatures.💖🦍

This is my first time viewing this video and it is nice to see the greenery all around, once I read the comments and learned of a now larger enclosure I was very happy for these apes. I live in western Canada and have never had a chance to visit one.
I'm actually trembling with excitement at wondering how this beautiful & magnificent family will react to their new home...I know the new habitat or enclosure is relatively closeby, & I'm SO curious as to how (specifically) they'll be transferred...Anyway, I feel such tremendous affection & love for Shabani & his family, & I pray their new lives will be greatly improved & more enriching for them all...
poppykok5 have you gone to the website of the zoo, several pictures are there of the family. There is one where Shabani is coming out of a drugged state, I guess to move him. One of him climbing the wall to a window.
An animal communicator was asked to convey a question to the leader of one of the gorilla families, actually it was two questions one if they were aware that they were being held in a zoo and had lost their freedom , he told her yes and they didn't mind it abit they never worry about food ,poachers, or other animals trying to kill them for food, this woman is considered the best communicator alive today , she has stopped shark attacks big cat attacking the feeder , a leopard that would not leave his cage for over 1 year he now moves freely around the enclosure. She is so good she can walk right into a group of baboons and pick up the youngest baby and not be attacked in front of the male leader., she told him if he continued to steal food from tourist he would be shot down and killed , he was not aware he has not done it since, they all stopped
My heart heart nearly stopped beating when Kyomasa refused to give the celery to Shabani. Thankfully he finally dropped it on the 2nd trip around the island. Shabani did not look happy there for a minute. However, it was cute to see him get Kiyomasa and Annie as result to chase him later.

They are not vegetarians in the wild. They eat meat, including other monkeys. They are being deprived of their natural diet. Just because the only food they are fed in captivity is fruits and vegetables, doesnt mean they are actually vegetarian. They would love to eat any type of meat. This is also why their are a lot of problems with births. If they were eating meat they would be so much healthier happier and there would be no complications during birth.
I see so much emotion and intelligence in those eyes of his. What a magnificent creature. As much as I love seeing these primates, we've got to stop doings this. With our technology we can see any animal in the wild while sitting in front of our computer, so there is even less of a reason to keep these distant cousins of ours in captivity. Wherever they sent this family, it is at least a step in the right direction.
They were miserable in that small and cold place not even big enough for a prison. That Was their prison. I Hope their quality of life Will.improove. You are right! we must stop put animales in cages pretending that is for a good reason. I would prefer see a Gorilla die instead of see.him suffer un silence wondering why the hell we keep Them There. Human is so selfish!
This is my 1st time seeing these guys in this enclosure ,where is the video of them entering the new enclosure? and seeing Annie and Kiyomasa this little and the ladies so young looking and of course Shabani so young ,
I love this family so much and how concerned they all are if they think any one of them is in danger. I watch 2 or 3 videos everyday or something just doesn't feel right. And aren't Kiyo and his sister cute together? ❤
One of the things I find so fascinating is they’re so compassionate towards each other! More than humans are to each other! I wonder if that’s how we’d be if we weren’t a part of this corrupt world!
@Patrick Echols they have all put on weight from the food they all it. Shabani no longer takes their food as their more than enough for everyone. Shabani always eats after everybody else has. 🤩👌✌🏿
Kiyomasa is a very good looking boy gorilla his head and mouth are perfectly shaped, yet his feet are huge! I can always spot Annie due to her long pointed tip hair and thin frame.. she is so skinny and such a tomboy! Ai acts like a teenaged boy to me...as if she never really grew up...I notice she has a facial tick at 11:20 whenever Shabanis near her...I am still trying to figure her out.
@@SweeTeaNLemon I love Ai, she's special to me and I don't think she's mentally challenged. She's so cute with her facial expressions. I think she must have picked it up from her mom, Nene...who also has a mouth tick. I hope you have a happy new year! 😀

@@SkaterPunkie --- they've been in the new enclosure for a few weeks. They have it closed to public so the family can settle in. If you check out the zoo blog they have pics and news.
There is another gorilla above it, it didn't see who grabbed some food out of the weeds & startled him/her, probably thought it was getting charged from out of the bushes/weeds, lol-)
Shabani and Momotaro are so handsome. I love both of their faces. Shabani has an amazing personality and Momotaro is a cool cat😎

They never give them enough food. In the wild an adult male eats 50 - 70 lbs of food daily
I agree those animal don't get fed right. The little one's are to little. All they do is run around all day. Very sad.

It's very sad the way these poor animals are living, into a small space, when they need di large space, many trees and other...
The raw vegetables should be given in containers and not thrown on ground. Observation They are cleaning food and eating.
