This has to be one of the best Rival Sons songs, and I say that only through one listen! All of the elements combined from all five of you are evident and spectacular. This song is so fitting for its title and the theme of these two albums. Thank you so much for these masterpieces this year.

I had listened to Sweet Life and Mercy many times but waited until my vinyl copy showed up a few days to listen to the entire album in its entirety… There aren’t enough superlatives to accurately describe what the opening track brings. Amazing Mind blowing Sonically stupendous Transcendent Phenomenal Soul lifting EPIC… etc….❤
I love Rivals Sons have so for 8+ years now and I don't know what it is but these two albums really haven't done it for me there's been alright songs on each but like Feral Roots was amazing start to finish, I don't know if i just need to listen to these more or what. 🤔 Edit: People can't seem to read... Bought this album playing record roulette and I was very pleasantly surprised. Just one thing, whoever designed this cover should be sent to the gulag for making it so hard to read.
I’m a long time RS fan but when this 6 song album came the other day it didn’t do it for me. The previous album Darkfighter was as good or better than Feral Roots. This is kind of prog rock which isn’t my cup of tea. I’ll give it a bunch more plays but I can always play all of their others from their catalog.
