First comes private equity, followed by, "where can we cut cost?", ending in liquidation.
Agreed. If you want to screw your company and customers over be sure to sell the business to private equity firms. Those people are vultures
..
@@TheCarnivalguy I've seen quality go down since they were bought out
Nah. How it works is the private equity company wants to make big money and a growing company means the possibility of making even more. The death nail is when the company stops decent growth and starts to become stagnant.
At that point they will either outright sell it right away/liquidate it or start cutting costs in order to boost numbers so they can cook the books and sell it off to someone else.
Either way, if the company stops growing like it is, changes will definitely happen and you know they don't care about what the original owners envisioned.
I wish company man would stop giving the owners a "out". It's obvious they don't care about their company or employees when they decide cash right now is more important than keeping control. They could have grown it themselves, it just would have been lots of work and time. Looking at their pictures, it appears time isn't on their side for that and they'd rather just have the money now. Do I blame them? Eh, not really. But don't act like you care about your employees or business anymore.
Forgot the too-rapid expansion that leaves the company drowning in debt.
I;ve already noticed quality go down compared to the past Freddys I knew. They've gotten very stingy with the cheese and chili on the fries for example not to mention the large fries now look like what used to be regular medium size.
I went to a Freddy's in 2019 when I was traveling. Man it was good.
When I Heard that they were opening one near me. I was excited. A few months ago it opened. I took my family. Talked it up. Went in and it felt like a bad parody of what I had in 2019.
Private equity cost cutting has already started
Man ours turned so gross after its first year So so gross sticky floors lame food
It wasn't bad near me until a year or two later. I've gotten hair in my food and stopped going.
So if you work evenings, from Monday to Friday, you’d be working *Five Nights at Freddy’s*
Toda esta broma es muy estúpida. Si utilizó un traductor, entonces tiene demasiado tiempo libre.
I would work there for a week just to have this on my resume.
But I can’t work nights
I am not from America and at first thought that Freddy Fazbears Pizza is expanding near me.
😂
That was also my first thought when I saw a sign for it near me
Omg bro 😂😐
Same
I know this channel isn’t one to do April Fool’s jokes, but I would be tickled if he ever did an April Fool’s vid if his usual upload date was the very same
I am from Wichita, love Freddy's but I definitely feel like the quality/flavor changed once Freddy passed and the original founders sold and the expansion happened. I also believe we were one of the first cities for QuikTrip to expand to.
Also from the area and totally agree. Had gone regularly until my most recent visits in 2022 and 2023...
They used to have such a high standard for quality and service, and now that's completely gone. It's obvious as soon as you walk in the door. Very sad.
Yeah especially they're cleanliness has gone downhill poor management sticky floors grows bathroom sticky soda fountain counter lame food I'm really really disappointed in the couple of Freddy's I've been in
As a ex cook from 2020-2023, quality dropped all around. Our store opened shortly before he passed, (+COVID), our team felt like it branched heavily away from what was trained months prior.
same, I was shocked it was actual burger meat. The custard however was one of the best I've had. Says a lot. I consider it a custard provider that "happens" to sell burgers and fries...
My wife used to sign up as a secret shopper at Freddy's. You had to meticulously document everything from how they greeted you to how clean the bathrooms were. Freddy's hired a company to do this a lot to make sure stores were performing quality. Since the corporate buyout that never happens.
I'm extremely surprised that you have not talked about Ruby Tuesday on this channel before. I think it would be a great topic!
Agreed. Should a Rolling Stones reference be made as well? 😂jk.
That would be a great idea
I used to be addicted to the Ruby Tuesday Turkeyburger Wrap. When they took it off the menu, they were suddenly dead to me. And THAT is one of five reasons they are failing. LOL
Are the Ruby Tuesdays around you good? I thought they were falling into obscurity. All the ones I know of haven't been popular for the past 20 years
In fact a while back, my family were having dinner at some other restaurant and the waitress there was new. When we asked her where she was coming from she said Ruby Tuesday and we all collectively asked "Ruby Tuesday is still around?". She just laughed and said it's mostly just old people now that go
@@omarjimenez8895 I live in Wichita, Kansas, I've never been to a RT but there aren't any locations in my area.
Those wings were amazing years ago
YESSSSSSS! I've been waiting for almost five years for a Freddy's video! It's my family's favorite burger place!
almost like you could say you’ve been waiting five years at freddy’s..
I'd never even heard of them 5 years ago, now they're everywhere.
Tbh, I thought it was a small business. I've only seen 1 Freddy's outside of Boise, and I've never seen any fanfare about this chain. 😂😂 I'm sure they're solid, though. They look like they make good grub.
@@combatcarl I first enchounted them back on a trip to OKC, then they started to build one in our town around September 2020, now there's two here baby.😎
"...say that again?"
"Freddy's - Expanding Near You"
Not to be confused with a certain fictional pizzeria with animatronics that can haunt you at night.
Yo I got a job offer from Freddys, should I take it ⁉️⁉️
except for the fact that the resturant has been around longer than that dumb game.
If I don't hear about this brain rot ever again it would still be too soon
I'd rather have the pizza place.
@@Flairis😂 NOPE!
A Freddy’s opened here in King of Prussia, PA a few years back in an extremely high traffic shopping and dining area. It closed soon after.
Yeah Freddy's sucks
The one in Exton is a ghost town most of the time. It's right next to a Chick Fil-A and across from a Wendys, no idea how it survives.
💯 😂 straight trash
@@dansan382my Freddy's litterally sits behind a Wawa and chick fila and an AutoZone hiding it from the road
My son recently was just saying their logos look the same. They put one up locally to me in NJ ... We love it
Funny that people like it so much. When I went there the first time I literally called it a "more expensive worse version of Culver's"
It's the "We have Culver's at home", and if your mom cooked it directly on top of a charcoal briquette.
This!
Ever since two Freddy's locations opened in my area. Most people I know have been dunking on it as a lesser Culver's
Totally! I don't get it the love for this place. Culvers is far better, and cheaper.
I eat a Freddy’s in Indiana, this is eerily like Culver’s. Smash burger with cheese curbs and a scoop of custard is my typical order. Was Freddy’s all ways like this or did they copy other restaurants when expanding? Who is copying who? It felt like an alternative universe.
i would not spend more than 5 nights at this place
Boo!!!!!!!
Get off the stage
They opened 4-5 locations in my general area. I even was part of the opening crew at one of them when I was in high school. All but one has closed. My old one’s an orthodontist now. This video actually shocked me
We have a location opening up in Elkhart, Indiana in the next few months, and I've heard the obligatory positive buzz about how good they are, but after watching your video, the only thing running through my mind is a franchise known as Steak and Shake. I mean literally the same color scheme, the same motif, a menu that is very similar, so I feel I will have to reserve judgement until I can try it for myself. In recent years Steak and Shake has kinda fallen from grace. A few in this region have closed due to cleanliness and other issues. Now Culvers has also come to this area in the last few years, and they are doing quite well, so it will be interesting to see how Freddy's stacks up against the competition. Great video as always!
I don't think I've ever heard of this till now, but I live in the Northeast--so it makes sense!
There's a few in pa
I'm sure we'll be back in a few years with a "The Decline of Freddy's" video. I really hope not because I really enjoy their food. Haven't been too many times, but I first went in 2017. It had a really homey and chill atmosphere. The burgers and custard stand out, competing with Culver's for sure.
Consider this reason I am subscribed to your channel: I relocated to southeastern Pennsylvania and now see that I am 20 minutes from a Freddy's. I want to have an opinion enough to visit this franchise. You're not an ad for these business as much as you are a curiosity point. I like that about your content. Thank you for the curiosity.
Except Freddy's is bad from a quality:price ratio. Definitely give it a try because everyone has their own opinion and Freddy's may be great for you. But for me and my kids... I didn't like how expensive they were for a burger that was lower quality than Wendy's, and my kids straight-up despised the taste. And this was before the private equity buyout that others say lowered their quality.
@@blah2blah65 Like I said, I need to satisfy my curiosity, and I don't have to spend a mint to do it. But I do appreciate your opinion. Thank you.
It takes 87 bites to eat one burger from Freddy’s
4
Freddys is truly is the bite of 87
What?
It takes me about 5.
@@edited1325 i am so mad that I misunderstood the joke.
The title and subject matter are hilarious considering the only Freddie's I lived near closed months ago.
Same! Never got to eat there as both times I went (drive thru) no one came to the speaker, they were open
Freddy's is delicious. I'm in Houston and we waited for decades for Steak N Shake to delve into this market and Freddy's started around the same time. Steak N Shake went out of business after a couple years but Freddy's is going strong. I'd eat there more but I've been dieting and watching my cholesterol lately. The cool thing about them is if you bring your dog to drive thru they will give you a free vanilla "pup cup" for your dog. My dog used to love that. We got to calling any dog ice cream treat a "pup cup" and she instantly knew what I was saying.
In the Houston metro we have all those Whataburger, In & Out, Culver's and Freddy's. I always choose the one with the shortest line.
I didn't know Freddy's was expanding. They opened a few restaurants near me about 10+ years ago and have not opened any new locations since.
They opened one up a couple blocks away from me about 2 years ago. When it first opened, the lines were crazy. Then it died down after a few months. So now that the lines were gone, I finally tried it and was not impressed. Actually, it wasnt good. Apparently, everyone else thought so as well, as I never see any cars in the parking lot or in the drive through. I have to assume it will close soon, as they have no customers.
Mine sucks so badly
A friend of mine hyped up Freddy's and finally convinced me to go there (I much prefer Culver's) a couple of years ago, and I was equally unimpressed as you were. It was very disappointing, the burger tasted like it was burnt and it was really grisly. I tried them again later and had the same result. I'll just stick with Culver's or my local DQ (their Signature stack burgers are really good).
The food quality will always be better closest to opening day
Wait times at my local Freddy's are insane, so despite the food being good, I don't venture there. Culvers generally has much shorter wait times.
Dang man your town is possessed no one wants to eat at Freddy's is gross sticky floors sticky bathroom floors grows soda fountain counters laying food It's like steak 'n shake but gross
I'm from CT and I don't even remember the last time I went to a Friendlys. Just kind of watched them close down all around me.
Yeah hopefully you never ate it one cuz they're gross and their floors are sticky and their bathrooms are gross and they're soda fountain counters are gross and the food is lame You're so lucky
They used to have them around me in NoVa when I was a kid. Quality dipped and their business gradually declined. All in all Freddy’s a suitable replacement, even for our local-born Five Guys (the prices have gotten outrageous)
I went all the time as a kid in Ohio, but they closed like 10-15 years ago
When me moved to New Jersey we kept seeing it and say we had to go there one day… 2 years later we have been going there on a Friday or Saturday and just stay and eat. It’s very nice, chill, full of families and it’s peaceful. The food is always on point and the custard is delicious!! It’s one of our favorite food spots to go.
8:23 - Anyone else say “uh oh” when he mentioned eggs 😅
Gross margins go down. I wonder if they have an egg derivative.
We got a Freddy's a few years ago. I don't eat a lot of fast food, but the property is always clean outside. That does mean something. Anytime I have tried it, it was fresh and good. So...thats all i got. lol
Same, their quality is really consistent every time I go.
I love the food, and I agree on the cleanliness, but they are, by far, the slowest "fast food" restaurants I've ever been to.
In 2005, I went on a TDY to McConnell Air Force Base (which is in Wichita Kansas) for a week...Everyone said they were going to Freddy's one day for lunch...being stationed Florida, I never heard of it...We all went...It was heaven...The burgers were like nothing I had before...I even bought a container of the Freddy's spice they put on the burgers...They now have a Freddy's in Pensacola, about 45 minutes from me...I occasionally go there when I can...It is worth the trip..
Fries are too small. It’s a chore to eat. But it’s good all around. Spicy fry sauce slaps. And the cheese curds. Only place to get them really
I love the fries the way they are!! Gotta eat them on handfuls haha
When my local Freddy’s had their grand opening 10 years ago, Freddy Simon was there shaking hands, chatting with people and handing out coupons for free custard to all of the kids that came in. He seemed like a wonderful man. RIP
One thing I was hoping to see, but not surprised was missed, is that Freddy's is also expanding internationally this year - opening their first location in Canada in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Still no word on if the menu will be different, but I can't imagine it would change too much. Surely this is only one location here of many to come, too!
The menu would most likely be slightly different, but not by much. Maybe one or two items that are primarily eaten in Canada, like poutine and maybe donairs mite be added to the menu.
Didn't you hear? Canada is about to become the 51st state!
Their already international in Dubai
I'm in San Antonio Texas and I went to Freddy's back in 2010 and I love it!!! Also love all your videos!! Very interesting, informative and great!!! Keep em coming!! 😁
I miss Culver’s 😢I’d be happy if there was something similar near me I love the custard and greasy cheese burgers!
Culvers is way better than any Freddy's anywhere on this planet
@@yay4this You are not lying. Freddy's is overhyped and tastes like they cook them directly on top of a charcoal briquette.
I've been to Freddy's three times and enjoyed it each time. The problem is that the closest is 30 miles away. I'm in walking distance of McDonald's, Jack In The Box, Eureka! and The Habit. Within a mile, I have Carl's Jr., Wendy's, In-N-Out and Burger King. If I want to drive a bit there's Ruby's Diner (again 30 miles) and Red Robin (only 8 miles). I really have to be in the neighborhood to eat there. There was a Freddy's 12 miles away, but it was one of the 22 that closed.
Freddys near me is actually quite good for a fast food burger, but idk how they survive. I rarely see other cars in line, even close to dinner time.
I think they deserve a lot of praise simply by being the only fast food place where you can get smash burgers from a drive through. Smash burgers are just naturally more flavorful imo so once I started going to Freddie’s I stopped getting other fast food burgers.
Sonic makes smash burgers... and they have a drive-thru...
@ since when? We’ve had Sonic here for decades, I’ve never seen a smash burger at sonic. Are you talking about some special they’re running or new burger? I kinda wrote Sonic off as mid years ago, but I’d be willing to try their smash burger
There is also a fast-food chain called Smashburger that has a drive-thru line.
@@BurnsyRuns It's been out since last summer afaik. It's called the Sonic Smasher.
@@JacobPaul-ix7oc all the Smash Burgers near me don’t have drive through. They also all have pretty severely dropped in customer service/quality.
Probably will try out the Sonic one tho next time it’s convenient
I would say their biggest competitor here in Texas is P Terry’s. It started in Austin but it’s quickly expanding.
The one near me is on the verge of dying. No one seems to go there and Steak ‘n Shake across the street is getting more business than they do.
We don't even have Steak 'n Shake in my part of the country and I was like... don't they already make a steakburger?
One closed by me too. They opened 2 in different parts of the city and the one in the busier area closed
let me guess: Califoria?
@ nope Midwest. Where Steakburgers were born
there are 2 by me that are dead every time i drive by them. there's no way they'll last. i've been through the drive thru twice and both times have had the longest wait times i've ever experienced for ice cream. i won't go back because of how slow it is.
I am from Minnesota, one of my friends is from California which has all the big ones. And I showed him Freddy’s he goes “omg this is better than (in and out ) very cool
Which one did you go to? I've been to the one in Brooklyn Park and I thought the burgers weren't all that great, it was too grisly imo. I much prefer Culver's or even a DQ burger over Freddy's.
I didn't watch this, yet. My local Freddy's is just ok on food, but the local store is gross. Floor is sticky, fountain soda counter is surrounded by high chairs, it's just gone downhill after the first year.. and it's been here for five years or more

Oh, a Company Man subject I've been to! I really like Freddy's, especially the custard. When I visit my friend in the US, I always ask that we go there.
Nothing beats good old frozen custard
You Trumper will pay for what you’ve done to this country!!!
I lived in Missouri a few years ago and Freddys was everywhere. It was first time seeing it as I never saw one in living in California, Georgia or Tennessee. Now in Texas, I see them everywhere!
There was a Freddy near me but it's gone now
Yeah Orlando FL had a Freddie's but the QSR was not any better than a dozen others. It shut down around 2021.
That's because it suck and sticky floors and gross bathrooms and gross soda fountain counters and the food was lame You're lucky you didn't need a one
I’m from Buffalo, Ny and I can’t lie; when I first saw the picture for this video I thought it was another video on Friendly’s. I haven’t heard of Freddy’s until now but I’m looking forward to trying it if I get the opportunity and I’ll compare it to the little I remember of Friendly’s since I haven’t had it in probably 15+ years
I LOVE FREDDYS
One is expanding near me. Started construction yesterday actually. What timing!
freddies is like steak n shakes cousin that went to college and now has a nice career while steak n shake is the slacker of the family. lol
About 2 years ago, Freddy's opened a store near me (in an old White Castle building, of all places) and I thought it was a little pricey compared to other fast food.
The prices rivaled 5 Guys, so 5 Guys is where I go now.
I don't like five guys but it's way way way better than Freddy's every day of the week who wants to walk on sticky floors gross bathrooms gross soda fountain counters and lame food.. The only thing five guys has going on form is their little better than Freddy's
Great to hear that Freddy Fazbear are expanding their business 🔥
The first Freddy's in my area opened a few years ago. Went there once with some friends, and none of us were impressed. Understaffed, not all that clean, and the steakburger patties were so thin you could see through them. The french fries were tiny and tasteless. Too little for too much cost. Maybe it was just this particular franchisee, or maybe private equity is already milking them dry.
2021 was the first year that my home state New Jersey received a Freddy's location and it was only a half-hour walk from where I was living at even though I left the state earlier in that month than when it opened. At least I attended that location almost two years later and no surprise how much I love the food!
I’m from Tucson, Arizona, and it’s been here for years. There’s one near me that I go to often, really cheap and high quality for fast food. I can get an entire meal, drink, and shake for like 15 bucks, 10 bucks if I drop the shake. Pretty good deal!
I've never heard of this company before, and I've never been this early for a video before.
I first tried Freddy's a decade ago in Spring, Texas but once we got a new one in Kingwood in the late 2010's That became my closest one, I also have been to the one in New Caney as well, And yes they really have grown so much so many locations they've opened up in recent years have been in areas I have been to before. When I mean so many I really mean that.
I've been to those same three locations. Not bad, but none of them are close enough from home to make it worth the drive just to eat there.
Freddys and Culver's are worth the extra money.
Honestly need to have Culver’s more at some point. Our Freddy’s is closer to where we’re at but I quite like both of them
I live near metro Atlanta and we’ve had a few Freddy’s for some years now, and the food is always good. We also got two whataburgers within a couple of miles of each other about a year ago.
Yeah, same. I live in the Buckhead area (the residential district, not the city), and when I heard the metro was getting a Freddy's, I pretty much flipped. I had heard a LOT about the place and really wanted to try it, so I went to the one in Marietta, and it was really nice. The food was also amazing.
Visited Freddy's several times, great food n service.
I went during slower times/days, each time took a bowel movement on the Men's room floor.
I hate my Freddy's You're so gross and the floors are sticky and the fountain soda counter is gross and I think you're from my own town cuz the men's room is gross
Bruh we had that at our store on the baby bed 😂
The custard place they were inspired by is known as “Andys” it’s super popular in the lake of the ozarks area and beyond . Really good stuff
Freddy's is decent; their fries are some of the best in my opinion but I prefer the burgers from several other places. I ate at Freddy's more often when they used to be cheap.
In N Out is my favorite of the regional burger places because they're by far one of the most affordable places in the entire country and their quality is high and *very* consistent especially for that price.
I’ve only been to a couple of Freddy’s, one in Kansas and the other outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. Both were good in terms of food-they were definitely in the same league as In-n-Out-but in terms of customer service? In-n-Out and Chick-fil-a are the winners hands down…
I worked there one summer in college. At the time there were only three in the entire state of Virginia. Now there are nine
I'm near the Fairfax location. I'm so excited to try it. I didn't even realize there 9 in my area.
When i visited the west coast, Freddy's was way better and more memorable than my first time at In N Out
When In N Out opened in Reno while I was a student at UNR, I checked it out to see what the Californians were raving about.
I came away with a reinforced belief that people from California have no business expressing food opinions that don't involve Mexican food.
@@SimuLord i feel you bro. I'm a Californian who lives a couple blocks away from an in n out. I never understood the hype.

I don't get it. I've eaten at two different Freddy's locations. Disappointing "burgers" with paper-thin meat, worst onion rings I've ever had....they even found a way to make a bad milkshake. Both were loud, dirty, and had rude employees. Champaign and Mattoon, IL locations.
I'm just glad that a Freddy's opened in South Jersey so I can get cheese curds as a treat now.
I actually just got back from georgia about a year ago and thats where I first was introduced to Freddy's. It was so good. I remember thinking how many people would love this if it was on the other side of the rockies.
Well when I got home there were I think 3 or 4 in my home state... at least near me I mean. But yeah love Freddie's and its getting bigger here out west.
I drove into a Freddy's thinking that it was a Friendly's. I left without going in. Edit: Just looked and that Freddy's location is permanently closed now. Their "upscale Steak N' Shake" concept apparently couldn't compete in an area saturated with Chick Fil A, Culvers, and Portillos.
I'm lucky I was able to try this place because we have one in Jacksonville, NC . I love their food, and the custard is amazing. I've never had an issue at that location.
My wife loves Freddys. I took her once and she was hooked. Oddly enough I usually get their hotdogs because of how they’re toasted.
A Freddy’s opened up a few months ago near me. It’s always dirty, the service is horrible, and the wait is long. Even during slow times. It’s good food, but for those reasons, I don’t typically go.
literally one of the best burger places i go to, they're so good and i LOVE their fry sauce...
Never been to a Freddy's, or even heard of them before this video. Looks like they're in my state, but on the wrong end, I'll have to wait for them to expand over here.
So glad there’s at least 3 Freddy’s locations in my area. Cause Freddy’s is one of my favorite fast food places
Their signature Fry Sauce used to be (I presume) a freshly-mixed sauce that came in a soufle cup with the day of the week written on it with sharpie. Now it is factory made and comes in sealed, single portion cups like vending machine salad dressing.
It's ok, the secret sauce and buffolo are made from our ingredients. (I left 2 years ago)
As someone from the northeast I’ve never heard of Freddy’s before. I hope to get the chance to try it sometime. I do have to say though, the Friendly’s comparison isn’t too strong as Friendly’s is a sit-down restaurant rather than fast food. Friendly’s has had a major decline though, their restaurants are mostly gone but their ice cream is still popular in stores around here
Georgian here. There's a Freddy's right down the street from my neighborhood, but I'd much rather have a Culver's move closer to me. I love Culver's burgers. Only had it once on a road trip through Stone Mountain and my Ma remembers their tenders vividly. Freddy's just didn't strike me as that special on the first try.
To me, Freddy's is a combination of Steak N Shake and Culver's because of the Steakburger/Frozen Custard combo. I have encountered a Freddy's here in MI that was out of town. Wasn't busy at all. The food was great!
Their food is _amazing._ Best fast food place in my town, and we have a _lot_ of fast food places in my town. The fries go really well with the chocolate custard. Also, their brownies are shockingly good (you can get brownies as custard toppings).
At first glance, I thought this was a video about Friendly's because as you mentioned, it does look like the Friendly's logo. Then I remembered you did a video about Friendly's already, then I hoped this wasn't a depressing follow-up like with Big Lots. I like Friendly's and don't want to see them go away.
Side note: Please, I'd love to see a video from you about the decline of Ames. They were once a huge deal and I would love to see you talk about their decline
I went to my first Freddy’s in Cincinnati - I’d never seen one before moving here - just about a month ago. The burger was tasty, but eating inside made me think “wow, how is this place still in business?”I had no idea it was considered successful.
Hoovie's Garage introduced me to Freddy's
I used to work across the street from one.
The burger is pretty good for what it is.
The fries are okay. The fry sauce is chef's kiss.
The cheese curds are great.
I've never had the custard.
We have a few Freddy's stores on my area of Idaho and I always enjoy them. I like the more reasonable portion sizes.
Never heard of them before moving to San Diego, but went and I really like it. Good veggie burger option, and the fries were great. Always fun to see a new player doing it right!
Where in Sandy? I have never seen one of these
It was down in National City. Last I went was a year ago, but I just checked Google Maps and it says permanently closed 😢
Freddy’s just opened a 2nd restaurant here (Fayetteville NC) and it was much welcomed! The 1st one was clear across town and me personally never really went to, but this 2nd one on my end of town has been awesome and I’ve loved having it. Also Culver’s just opened a location here as well, I’m assuming to compete with Freddy’s.
For those of you wondering in the Midwest Freddy’s is very similar to Culver’s. Their burgers are similar and they also serve custard and cheese curds.
I live in MN and we have both near my area. I will choose Culver's over Freddy's every single time, the couple of times I tried Freddy's were extremely disappointing.
Scott Redler is a family friend of my dad’s! I remember flexing that I knew “the Freddy’s guy” when I was a kid 😂
The burgers at Freddy's are as good as any higher-end burger place, but their skinny french fries and fry sauce are what keep me coming back!
Yess! You should do a video about Big Boy. I’m curious what you could dig up about it. I worked at one for a day and a half, it was filthy there.
Man I tell you what I've been to a dozen big boys and never been disappointed I'm sorry to hear that because I've been a two Freddy's and both of them are gross sticky floors grows bathrooms sticky soda fountain counters lame food I'll eat that big boys everyday of the week man and I like it
You should do Plato’s closet
They have been opening around St. Louis for the past like 8 years! They are the new Steak N Shake!
I live in the Northeast and grew up going to Friendly's - I can't think of a single location that's still open, so I wouldn't mind a similar franchise filling that hole.
I live in LA, and for a city that prides itself on Health we have a whole lot of burger, places here… fatburger, five guys, Smashburger, Astro Burger, habit burger, umami burger, in and out and I’m sure I’m leaving more out and that doesn’t include that chain like Burger King McDonald’s, etc….. however we do not have any Freddy’s… or Culver’s for that matter! My two favorite burger places when I’m traveling or not here please come to LA
i love Freddie's. the first time my mom took me in Flagstaff, AZ, it was the best thing ever. i love their fries more than McDonald's!
Still a Culver's stalwart when I head to Wisconsin, but if Freddy's comes to New England, I'll give a chance!
Babe wake up new company man just dropped
I love the thin patties😁🤘🤘
I tried Freddy's a couple times in Vernal Utah which is a fairly small town. My favorite thing about it was that it was located on my way out of the town. I enjoyed the burger. I couldn't stand all the sugar in the frozen custard. I had a small. They need a super small for people like me.
I love Freddy’s. We don’t have it in Michigan but last time I was in Florida, I tried it and literally ate it like 4-5 days a week because it was so on point, fast AND affordable. I’ve been telling my friends ever since and nobody I know has heard of it or had it. Would be awesome if they expanded up here.
There are now 3 locations in the West Michigan area. One just closed at the start of the year sadly
28th street, Plainfield and Lake Michigan Drive, all in the Grand Rapids area
