- Here’s what I wanted to share with you all: I’m wearing a gorgeous Bandhani saree that I’ve carefully ironed and adjusted to my height, without fully opening it. The unique crinkles of the Bandini tie-dye art are still beautifully preserved.
If you look at the palla, the decorative end of the saree, I haven’t opened it at all. The real beauty lies in keeping it as closed as possible.
I’m delighted that my previous video has been helpful, but it saddens me that this valuable information wasn’t shared earlier. As a result, some of you might have dry cleaned and fully ironed your sarees, unintentionally losing the distinctive crushed Bandini effect and making it look like a printed saree. But it’s never too late, and now that I’ve shared this, I’m glad that moving forward, nobody will make the same mistake.
