Making A Shortcut For Aligning & Pathfinder In Illustrator

  • It's a button - can it still be a keyboard shortcut?
    Important addition by Ekaterina Bjerrum / @productivistascriptsa... : the Align buttons do have a menu: in Object - Align - so you can assign a shortcut to them there. If you want to align inside a more elaborate action, you can use both that menu and the Align panel.

    great idea! i use actions in photoshop all the time, but never do in illustrator.

    Hi Monica. You can set the align shortcut in Keyboard Shortcuts > Menu Commands > Object > Align
