I think there is a problem with the direction The voice acting is...Quite bad, but the actor definitely have a good voice for him. The problem is that he don't express emotion well enough, and that they need to work the voice when the boy is far away

It’s because quite literally all of the VA’s in this game are natively British and many were forced to do an American accent whether or not they were good at it. It resulted in tons and tons of extremely robotic and monotone performances because the actors were more focused on keeping up the accent than putting emotion into the voice acting. I absolutely hate that Kurogames did this. Either spend the money to get all American actors or accept the fact you went non union to save money and let the actors keep their natural accents. To my knowledge, they’re currently looking to hire a voice director. So I’m praying lots of changes will be coming.
