They do stack actually ... if I have my 4 skeletons rush a boss... I get 4 sets of #'s pop up from the thorns ... vs swapping the skill in/out... having them charge in alone... only 1 set of #'s show up ... TH-camr is wrong.

Just slightly off topic after running continuous spikes with the recommended awakening’s and essences l substituted it with the molten golem with 2 damage increasing awakenings made quite a nice variation with a 4 piece grace plus it compensated for the immunity some bosses had with continuous spikes.
i also run dark curse with damage legs, new spikes, bone pillar with soul fire ignite off hand and 4 pce grace get chest of glory in raids with it very underrated damage actually melts
Ok is BSJ working with summons? Does quills proc seeping bile? What gems do you prefer as a necro for all situations? Also great content overall you got a new subscriber
There is no such thing like all situation. However if someone is closer to f2p i always say that : 1. Bersker's Eye 2. Everlasting Torment 3. BSJ ( working with summons ) Are core for such players and I use it as well. Bloody reach is decent gem too. Not only because its damage but also debuff. For range classes obviously. And yes quills procs seeping bile.

You wont believe me but I was sure that somebody say so ... and somehow I knew it gonna be you hahah! However I dont realy need so much corpses (maybe exept boss phase) and I tested damage it was like 5k vs 7k per sec for thorns. Its matter of 2 sec propably before cooldown ends for me. And thorns also can switch target techincly.
Well two diffrent build continual dmg is great aoe damage. Archers plus mages are great for single target and boosting party members. Anything what is based on summons is not Universal since summons are performing well only on pve. If you dont mind extra green set then you should at least try it and judge for yourself.
Its good if you get bored with summons....but summons build it the strongest nothing even close.... try changing rift with 400+ cr less with this build....skeletons will die in seconds.....and its not a good build for bosses as well ..... I'm not critical just realistic. I have been playing with necro since beginning with summon build and maggot pants i can do challenge rifts with 412cr higher then me ... I challenge anyone to beat that with any build..... Otherwise always great video keep up the good work!
Actually it is 400 + cr. Im playing necromancer since very first day as well. Obviously i started as pure summoner. Based on many opinions a lot people once "exit summoner safety space" never come back to it. Frankly its really difficult to measure witch build is better. So im not going to argue with that. Just a question, when you're fighting a boss, as it is a single target, so you won't have corpse frequently; so I guess you won't use Corpse Explosion frequently? It will be surffice with just skeleton with wall and spike? I was trying out AoE build as well and I had Grim Scythe to create (max) 2 corpse. So seems this build, there won't be any corpse when fighting boss?
Thanks! In dungeons many bosses spawn some mobs so its not like there are no corpses at all. But indeed not as much as it could be. So its realy hard to answer this question since it depends on situation and any solution gonna make some damage losses. Personaly I dont like to use anything to produce corpses. And rather wait for mobs Spawn or skeleton die. For raid and clan Wars its all diffrent story.
Otherhand you can get rid of skeletons if you dont need some kind of front line. Switch chest piece for new one and pants for curse continual damage. Obviously use curse insted of skeletons. You gain additional continual damage skill plus you produce corpses from your armor But you dont have front line. There is always some kind of trade of But this one is best i guess if we are talking about damage.

Hi there! Thanks for your comment! Back to your question. As f2p or low spender i would go for berserker eye and torment. Im not gonna lie bsj is another core because of movement speed. But still it all depends what gems you use now. Fervent Fang and Bloody reach are great for this build. Closest substitution for seeping bile is volatility shard. You can also try power and command since build is based on primary and skill damage. Chained death seems to be worth testing in case of damage. However you can go for some def gems like kir sling if you need.
My best set items are total lost of control one but not sure what works best for those set items. Usually just use primary attach and benefit effect set pieces.
For pure summoner : Primary damage Summon damage Crit damage For continual skill based: Skill damage . . . Crit damage Beneficial durration You can also go for some primary damage
To be honest im not convinced. Grace provides additional hit and its possible to cirt. Especially if you are going with crusader then grace is better i guess. Also even low dmg tick counts so in this case grace does better job either.
New video will be uploaded today. This build gonna more for single target. So Shadow Wars, raids, dungeons in party are good palces to test it out. However necro perform better in support team and this build also is not supposed to use in main battle. No matter what CR i have i always join support team.
It's not economically viable to switch all your summons reforges to continual damage unless you're a mega whale. Summon build min-max for PVE content are already reaching 600 + cr above them.
Necro is totally nerfed.., you only worth to help lower levels to rise.., sad history,.. on pvp any dh or monk bump your butt,.. thank you blizzard,.. the best char now worths nothing,..

Yes kind of... but this game is still about 90 % of aoe dmg. Someone has to deal with mobs before any boss phase.
Try bone pillar with 4 piece grace set and ignite it, awesome dmg. super slept on

Unfortunately golem aura does not proc grace bonuses.

You can use new chest piece for extra corpses, it has 12 sec cooldown.

Man I'm p424 8k cr, have mained Necro from the start and missing only 1 essence. Fking Rotspur. It's driving me insane 😂

Sure. However flag bonus works great. I believe some people use it with random sets pieces just to get max cr.

Why not use the mournful destroyer dark curse instead of the bone spikes head piece? Doesn't mournful do more damage?

Its diffrent essence combination. You loose 30 % thorns durration and have nothing in head slot. But obviously you can test other solutions as well!
