I think I can clarify why their seems to be an issue here. When Americans decided to standardize they're spelling, dropping a lot of "u"s out of words ie. flavour became flavor, and colour became color, they also decided to drop the silent "e" from the end of verbs when they are used in the continuous form. But up here in Canada we decided to keep the silent "e"s cause we think there really cool 😎 😎😎
