It. ’m not sure how you conceptualize this song and I hate how I’m about to sound but I have always felt that it is a celebration of the moments we have during our youth. A celebration that we can acknowledge how quickly time can pass if we don’t notice the beauty of the moment. What I love about your cover is that it’s not deferential. You capture the essence of the song which is filled with carefree attitude, wonder, and joy by using a sound that is contemporary but respectful to its roots. It’s the best cover of this song that I have ever heard.
