Peter have you considered getting the boat floatable, and putting it on a shop to Lankouwie or Thailand. Getting parts duty free and no customs hassels , would make finishing the boat a lot easier, quicker ??!! CHEERS Steve h.

Is it no coincident that SV-Delos had a boat flipping episode this last week. Then we saw how much better the SV-Freedom builders were. That was unbelievable the way they moved all of those boats.

Pete you should check out the Hybrid Logging trucks being developed in Canada By Edison motors the prototype was called topsy .. they had trouble with generator engine supply from catapillar a long long lead time on any order. So they went over to Scanias ...who also make the most powerful V8 19L truck engines, which they also use in a Swedish hybrid powered Al water jet 55 ft high speed deep V hulled patrol boat. The E motors alone produce 400hp each the Diesels Over 800hp .. and they meet all Euro and US emmision standards. Worth a look ... those figures look like they could be better. Benchmark design for a cat. support vessel is a beasty called Hodor..

The stress and depression moves in and the World caves around you, I thought I was immune from that shit but I wasn't - bit of a wake up call. There is help out there, and if you need it take it. I'm fine now but I leant a lot, I should write a book. For information when your stress/ depression problems are for real, then harden up, shake it off, man up, pull yourself together, won't work - I know I tried that 🙂
