Kite boy me I like his licks and listened to him wail on crossfire album. he seems to have dissappeared. i also want a tab of the out of oblivion album just so i can play this song.
My favorite part starts at 2:23 as Jessy Bullet and Ethan trade melodic solos over the main melody of the song - that glorious moment lasts until 3:32. Love it, keep coming back to this to get another dose of that surreal 1980's style phrasing - Always Fresh! Thank you so much!
He is one the best Guitar Players i have ever seen and i have worked with many catch him live out on Tour great cd but you got to see him live for the full effect
I keep listening to this over and over, coming back to it every few days, over the past 10 years or so. The only thing I wish would be to re-release the video with higher quality, as it is a masterpiece, but 13 years ago TH-cam's compression was garbage. A reupload now would be soooo much better!
Hey There! Thank you very much for all that support my friend! If youtube would have let me reupload this without losing views etc it would be nice, a little behind the scenes information for you since you appreciate this video more than most people, it was shot with analog tapes in PAL...I had to then convert the tapes to NTSC in a studio and then get it edited and apply this filter on before uploading to youtube all these years ago. I'm wondering if the files I have are at higher res than what you see on youtube
@@EthanBrosh Wow that is amazing, thank you so much for letting me know that! Indeed, I always thought it's not just a simple 4:3, it had a tape feel to it, kind of like the last generation of "modern VHS". Indeed, filming in PAL and then going to NTSC, plus the editing must have lost some quality. And I know what u say about re-uploading it without losing views. But, I think you can always re-release a new video, while keeping this old one, but name it something like "remaster" or "HD" or something along those lines, maybe even with some added commentary at the end, or anything you might like. Again, I've listened to this track thousands of times (without any exaggeration), I can hum it note-for-note, section by section, beat by beat, even the sweeps and string skipped arpeggios, I just can't play it yet, only the slower melodic parts. But please allow me to say it's truly a masterpiece, in my book it goes down as probably the greatest melodic shred songs of all times. And again, the video is an integral part of it, I don't like listening to it without watching the video, unlike other songs where the video is just optional. Thank you so much for responding to my comment, you made my day! I'm a long-time fan of yours ever since 2011-2012 when I first discovered you in my early days of learning how to play guitar♥
I've loved listening to this song for so long now. I always come back to check it out every now and then! But Ethan, I must point something out that I've noticed in the comment's section below. There are 100's of compliment you get but you don't answer them (from a little bit of speculation, if you do reply to some of them, then that's awesome) but whenever someone comments something negative, you give them apesh*t :p I'm not saying they don't deserve it, but you really should focus on the positive things people say :) That's all. Thanks a lot for sharing this video though, it has brought me loads of joy over the years and that is no joke. You are a big inspiration!
Hey Stefan...You're right...I do try to answer everyone, Not sure why I didn't do it so much on this video. Sometimes youtube messes up the order of the responses and they all end up way way below and out of order. another wonderful thing about google. And honestly my biggest problem is with google who basically is encouraging a platform of disrespectful people with their dislike buttons and giving stage to anyone who signs up to a free email account. But you are right, these negative comments show up on my phone and I usually answer back...But don't think I don't appreciate all the positives here, I am very grateful for that and those are also the people I talk to in person at my live shows. But thanks for the heads up :)
Very cool. Love those (Kramers I think) and the hot neon colors of course. Reminds me of the good old days of rock in the 80's. God music is finally awakening! Thank god! LOL.. :-)
Totally Restored my faith in rock music. Bought the album. These fuckers here no how to get out the souls of their guitars. You both need to do shows in cali.
The idea of the video is so funny and original, and there are many many years of metal in that song. This track has remembered me of many guitar players that i listen to. So nice, i really liked it!!
thank God, because there are guitarists like Ethan who did not leave the real music died, a lesson in how to be a true guitar hero, Ethan you put me back to the days of the magical decade of 80, with MacAlpine, Vinnie Moore, Joey tafolla and other great masters, congratulations to you and the particularly jessy who did not know, I fa more too, a big hug from the youngest fa Giovanni carvalho
Totally Amazing again, every song you guys make is Awesome! Reminds me of Jacky Vincent! This is Bach influence at it's finest! I can't believe you guys can play those color of guitars without hurting your eyes. I think you guys bring out these guitars hoping people will think you are crazy, then you prove it!
Sweet 1986 Kramer Stage Master. By this time ESP was making all the necks and bodies for Kramer. The Stagemaster series was neck thru body, the American Series guitars were assembled in New Jersey. I still own three original Kramer's, a 1983 Vanguard, 1986 Pacer Custom and a 1990 Pacer Custom 2, which is a bolt on neck version of the guitar in this video.
It is wonderful to see a new emerging act that is not the same old boring stuff. Ethan, you jam! I have this CD and love it! I think that you are an extension of some of the great 80's shredders adding your own twist equalling greatness! Keep it up. I agree that you inspire us guitarists, I look for you to put out other CD's down the road. Unitl then, keep shredding...we love it!
love ethan. sounds like he loves to create a story in a tune. reminds me of some tony macalpine from my teenage years. obviously has a lot of 80s influence including george lynch on his album. wish they played this instumental stuff on the radio like they used to.
Hey dude, you have a beautiful sound! very clean. Gratz about your guitars, i visited your homepage and saw your gear, and its amazing, great collection of ladies.
Well, what do you say to a musical exhibition of this caliber? "Wow"? "Holy shit?" Unreal talent, technique, sound and composition. Thank you for keeping it alive, what a player. I am amazed, and yes, more than a bit jealous.
Hey man! Good to see a video of other guys looking like they remember what real rocking guitar playing sounds like. Hope to see you soon :) Love, your friend from namm (with the reeboks)
Hey Ethan, one of your ADA friends here ;) hehe loving this, has such an old school feel to it, which obviously is what i like about your playing, both did an awesome job with this!! \m/ \m/
25 dislikes WTF!!!!!! this was insanely good.i wouldnt worry to much about negative comments, look on steve vai, evh vids they get dumb ass comments aswell.theres lots of talent on view here, some people are just plain stoopid to see it.
Hey Ethan! great playing, you have got to be one of the bests guitarists around. You definitely give the same feel as the great players of the 80's. I had a couple of questions 1. Did you like the other great 80's players Jason Becker, T. Mac, Vinnie Moore etc.? 2. What pick-ups do you use? because your tone is great!
Wow i feel a bit of Helloween influence here as well , definitely Marty Friedman and Jason Becker influence too ....both you guys are fantastic, but i really love Jesse Bullets way of playing..... I think George Lynch ( Legend) reaks in your playing !
Excellent homage to Cacophony. Unreal!
Thank you Chad :)
One word for that.....OUTSTANDING!
who here wants this Jesse Bullet guy to do a solo album ? hes super sick!
Kite boy me I like his licks and listened to him wail on crossfire album. he seems to have dissappeared. i also want a tab of the out of oblivion album just so i can play this song.
Jessy Bullet does some really cool and memorable things with his solo lines, very melodic you can hear it and hum along - he's very very good
My favorite part starts at 2:23 as Jessy Bullet and Ethan trade melodic solos over the main melody of the song - that glorious moment lasts until 3:32. Love it, keep coming back to this to get another dose of that surreal 1980's style phrasing - Always Fresh! Thank you so much!
13 years damn
I didn't want this song to end, a number of different styles and melodies throughout the piece certainly bring back a host of memories.
Thanks guys for keeping 80ies metal alive! Cacophony II is born
After all that fusion tension music, this sounds like a bliss back to 80s
Yeah! Thank you Sheikh!
sounds like some 80s shrapnel records shredding! nice
Thank you :)
He is one the best Guitar Players i have ever seen and i have worked with many catch him live out on Tour great cd but you got to see him live for the full effect

Who is this Jessy Bullet?! His phrasing is outstanding!
He is very very talented no doubt!
The idea of the video is so funny and original, and there are many many years of metal in that song. This track has remembered me of many guitar players that i listen to. So nice, i really liked it!!

The yellow guitar is a Kramer FR404 in "nuclear yellow" (from the late 90's/early 2000's Music-yo era). I've got one exactly like it.
STUNNING!!! \m/
Thank you Nicolo!
It is wonderful to see a new emerging act that is not the same old boring stuff. Ethan, you jam! I have this CD and love it! I was and still am very much into The 80's classical influenced style and find it to be very compelling. I like!!!
Very cool. I love the way this was shot as well. Cheers to you both!!

Crazy Dope man maybe the best rock video i seen in a long time
Just amazing :D sounds perfect and the guitars are o-m-g .. xD
Yeah! The yellowish-green is a Musicyo Kramer Baretta, the other is an early Stagemaster.
Epic, this is going in my doomsday harddrive, I want the next generation of the human species to know that 80's shred didn't die with Jason Becker
In all it’s neon glory. 😎🤘🏻
Very much like Cacophony you can hear it at 00:29. I really loved this video!
Very cool!!! Reminiscent of Jason&Marty, or Paul&Bruce...
Hey Ethan! great playing, you have got to be one of the bests guitarists around. You definitely give the same feel as the great players of the 80's. I had a couple of questions 1. I think George Lynch ( Legend) reaks in your playing !
Both guitars are Kramers - PInk(3:48) and Yellow(3:59), you're correct!
Yeah, Kramer made neck thru models back on the day, I think the U.S.A. Neck Thru model was called the Stagemaster. Google 'Kramer Stagemaster'
your guitar's colors so sweet MyMaster :) and yours technique awesome!....I wanna a Kramer too but almost no brought to Turkey :(...
I can't believe how loud those unplugged guitars are!
