Bruh, here in Mexico it's gotten to a point where profesional Soccer teams have highschools which only purpose is to educate the future players, it also happens in Europe. Most of these are boarding schools for some reason.

As an ex HS Football player, it was C- at best if you're not a starting QB, RB, WR, or crazy good defensive player. I was on the O-line and my other big boys can agree we were all regularly picked on for being "huge" or "fat" or some derogatory simile. It was about the same for most bench players too. Constantly getting put down by starters and their asshole friends that didn't even try out. A lot more politics and getting picked on than you'd expect, but I'm sure every school has it's own unique culture surrounding sports.

as a basketball player i rlly felt that. everything was abt highlights and it hardly felt like a team sport anymore just everybody for themselves and the sport just wasn’t fun anymore. don’t get me wrong i was still able to get buckets w all the other starters but there was just no joy in it, only stress and selfishness that took a toll on my mental health so much i just ain’t wanna do it anymore and turned down d1 offers. the games changed a lot tbh
High school basketball is like out of movie where I live in Indiana almost quite literally. My school is known around the world for this old famous gym my school used to use. We go up against teams where it's a bunch of 5 star d1 athletes, and is just insane. It's hella competitive, and it's so much fun going to games.
Fun fact: a kid on my soccer team in high school (he was a few grades below me) switched to football to be their kicker and he regularly kicked (and made) 55+yard field goals. I think his record was 62 or 63 yards in a game

I’m my high school, I was in the tennis. Ain’t nobody cared about tennis, but most of my teammates were from the football and soccer team. So that boosted up my confidence. Football, Basketball, and Baseball be losing, while the Tennis, Soccer, Volleyball/Softball be winning tournaments.
honestly tennis is a fun sport to play, but when it comes to watching it's a bit more iffy. Whenever I would warm up for xc we would run by the tennis courts and I could never tell the difference between a practice an a game.

I played volleyball for 8-9 years, but don’t anymore this experience has made it my favorite sport. So anytime I’m at a volleyball game I’m glued to the game and occasionally shout.
In other sports, the players mainly use their hands and only use their feet to run. In ⚽️ you have to control a football with your feet (sometimes while running). I’m always surprised how footballers manage to control a football with their feet while getting passed defenders. Other sports are great too, but football requires a lot of physical skills and logic.

In other sports, the players mainly use their hands and only use their feet to run. In ⚽️ you have to control a football with your feet (sometimes while running). I’m always surprised how footballers manage to control a football with their feet while getting passed defenders. Other sports are great too, but football requires a lot of physical skills and logic.

Nah bro my whole training programme turned into "get into better shape so harley will like you" 💀 on my leg days I hip thrust her weight and on my runs I say "who's gonna rev up a harley". I got no clue why I'm simping for a fictional character so much💀. It's kinda funny cuz I'm in much better shape than 99% of my age group but no girls like me so I turned to fictional girls like harley and shego from Kim possible🤣. We need a part 2 on the underrepresented high school sports like cross country, swimming, golf, lacrosse, hockey, and bowling. Bowling has to be the top sport at my school, and it would be interesting to hear what you think about it
