As a man who served a war, the worst thing is not seeing your family for years and ptsd slowly takes over your life, some people aren't so strong and become their own demise, never join the military because you will most likely be drafted off to a war for a country that doesn't even care about you makes you homeless if you have no where to go

@@Meme_are_funny not really. shell shock never acknowledges u.s evolvement, because it takes place during 1914-18 when it was only the European powers in both the Triple Entente (France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy) and the Central Powers ( Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire, and Italy). Although they did join in 1917, one year after the war, shell shock and quiet on the western front (which was an actual book from a German WW1 Veteran), mainly focus on the European powers.

People don’t respect those who fought in war, no matter which side they were on. Seeing your friends/partners die in your eyes while killing countless people while also worrying the fact that you have a chance of getting shot and dying or loosing your body parts is so scary. But they are people who are willing to volunteer for those kinds of things.

And the fact of the matter is that on the 3rd of september 1939 Britain and france declared war on germany as a response to the invasion of poland, they did however not declare war on the soviet union for some reason, i'll let you guess why.
So technically it was the allies that started the war while hitler had a peace treaty with stalin

Never ever let 1 inch of your head off the trenches, anything can get you killed, barrage shrapnels, snipers.. a lot of these men went home only to end up on the streets.. permanently scarred mentally, and sometimes even physically. Some even say that the ones who die are the luckier ones, imagine months of trainings only to die at arrival...

@@savetheevo *WW1, WW2 didn't really use Trenches as much as WW1 did, WW1 was considered more brutal, as it was in times where technology was growing, but tactics stay the same.

Same, when I played it first time, there wasn't hell happening (it was wave 1) and I thought my character looks goofy because of nose and ears. Then when I saw this video, I played it again, wave 2 prob. Later hell was happening

This game really shows how terrfying war truly is and i hopefully never have to get drafted to never experience the ptsd of war especially after war. The game starts out cute and happy and after u come back to the same town its destroyed its honestly a mix of a brutal game and a depressing one too

My grandfather saw his friend die on the battlefield, it was on ohama Beach, he remembered he said that everything was going to be fine when my father was nervous, he then died from a grenade while on the trenches, he said it happened so fast he didnt even see where his body was, just his severed leg...

The meaning of shellshock is a PTSD showed to soldiers that fought in ww1 and the reason is in the front line, both Central Powers and allies didn't stop bombing each other by artillery and the ammo name is shell. The front line soldiers had to listen to the huge sound of explosions and had to suffer in fear, this made them a trauma

My great grandpa was in world war 2 and he was in something like this he has sever ptsd and i would see him usually he was only 97 when he died i was the only person in my family that really cared about him and i was the only person that could help with his severe ptsd i hope your having a good time in heaven great gramps rest in peace.

i had a ww2 veteran in my family too, he died at 95 years old. he probably had some sort of ptsd but atleast it was as severe as it could have been, since it didn't have any visible symptoms that could potentially affect his life completely
