nice one Tomasz ,i have still the old Rage 5s and was going to upgrade to the new one, not been on hear for a while due to a bereavement, and was wondering if on the new saw i could still fit the router table as in your video sometime back now. that fits into the saw extension one,?
Im in the UK. Scanned the QR code and took me to the Temu app. The price of this router plate/lift 42£, pressed add to the basket, and the price jumped to 62£. It's still a good price, but not as advertised...
@igorlpv Temu for you, seems when items are in high demand they bump the price. Maybe its worth waiting couple of days to see if the price will go back to the lower one
That looks a nice little router lift and at a good price on Temu; it’s £78 on banggood at the moment. There’s some definite advantages with the ease of fitting the plate and the top lift mechanism that are better than the router plate and lift I have at the moment. It is as you said at the beginning suitable for small/medium router trim jobs, my only hesitation is that the lift mechanism is only on one side of the router, there’s no threaded bar or guide ‘poles’ on the opposite side which would help to keep the router lift square and true. But for simple jobs this is perfect
@geoffreycoan I thought the same thing. However, the mechanism is really solid and, so far, had no issues with it. Time will tell if it stays that way.
@@CasualDIY How much did you pay for it? Slovakia and Poland are neighbour countries and both in the EU. Freight costs and import duties should be about the same, VAT is now 20% here. From January 1st it'll be 23%. In UK 62GBP, that's less than 80 Euros, only 2/3 of the Slovak price. Strange.
Is that MDF being a green color common where you are? Never seen it in the US. I think in Sweden you can get black, which I'd love to have for some shop projects.
So you made a router table out of chipboard, which apart asthetics, you say worked fine. I notice you also had a router facility adjacent to your table saw. Now youre making another job out if mdf, having given temu your hard earned cash, who in appreciation jacked up the price fairly quickly. How many router tables do you need and is it a need, or just a nice to have?
Well this portable version I tend to use for smaller to medium jobs, or when I can't use my big router attached to the table saw. Sometimes I do profiles and I have one bit setup on one and another one on the other. Speeds up the work.
Usually, they only have a certain amount of products at the reduced price, 20 or 30 or whatever it may be. The video has few thousand views so unfortunately those deals may end quick.

this looks great, ive got my current router in my rage table saw like you, but wanted to have a second and this looks pefect, i may have to get 2
@@MrFoxLogan I find having two, one for bigger jobs and another for smaller is the perfect setup for me 👍
Fantastic router plate indeed, Tomasz! Beautiful work!!! 😃
Happy holidays!

I think it should fit as the over build is similar however the fence works differently 🤔 so it may not be possible
@@CasualDIY Thanks Tomasz , are you getting the new saw yourself?
@@chrisybradshaw8594 not at the moment,
@chrisybradshaw8594 To be fair I think it's great even for full price. I was really surprised with the quality of this plate and lift.

Maybe it's appropriate to tell this to your viewers in the video? @@CasualDIYBTW Amazon does the same (changing prices by time, region, demand).
@dieterjosef That's just my speculation, don't have proof for that.
Some things are charged shipping?
@voyager8195 they may have warehouses in different regions, different taxes, import duties etc.

I'm in Slovakia. Following the link the price is nearly 120 (119,78) Euros.
@hansdegroot8549 the price may be different for different regions due to shipping costs and taxes

It's MRMDF moisture resistant. Very good for painting over.

Looks good, but the price is higher.
@markduggan3451 hmm I just checked the code and the price is lower for me so not sure why is it higher for you 🤔
I tried the discount code, it would not give any discount as I am not a first-time buyer.
Hmm it still should work, I'll email them to clarify if you have to be a first time buyer to use these codes.
You were right Tomasz. The earler code has expired. Mike
Code has expired already
Codes already invalid, not even been 24hrs bud, temu can be great but I'd be careful trusting them for codes to give out to your subscribers
