Holly Marie Combs Says Shannen Doherty ‘Promised to Haunt' Her After Dying

- Holly Marie Combs pays tribute to her late 'Charmed' co-star and friend, Shannen Doherty, one week after her death. On Instagram, the actress shared a video featuring throwback photos of Shannen and wrote in the caption, 'I spent all day looking for one particular picture and found just about every picture but that one.' Holly says the 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star ‘promised to haunt' her after she died. Shannen died at the age of 53, following a years-long battle with cancer.
I grew up watching Shannen. She was absolutely my favorite sister of the Charmed series ❤️ 💕 May Shannen rest in eternal peace 🕊
I love the tribute Holly put together and that song tugged at my heart strings do much, it was perfect. I will be watching Charmed now with a sorrow in my heart.

I keep trying to find the words to say but then I want to just cry. Shannen was a huge part of my life through the Charmed series. Charmed was the first series I ever bought with my own money. I am so shocked because we all thought she had more time.

The show Charmed till this day has saved me. It reminds of my old self and no matter how tired I get that I must keep fighting.

It was *Alyssa Milano who didn't like Shannen* and was *jealous of her. There was No Fued.* Alyssa wanted to be the popular one and only star on the show. *_Too bad it backfired and Holly Marie Combs' character became the most popular_* one after _Shannen_ was gone. Holly's storyline with Leo & the Baby kept the show going.
Milano made up Lies and threatened to Sue if they didn't let Shannen go. Shannen was shocked, because she never knew of any issues Alyssa had Or that they were Not going to Renew her Contract. _There's a lot to be said about the character of a person who takes bread from people's Mouths.🤦🏽♀️_
Exactly. Its disgusting she keeps being brought up when she tarnished shannens name for years while shannen stayed quiet and tried to be the better person.
Look, I loved Shannen, but she admitted she was always late and disruptive on set in those days… you also don’t get fired twice by Aaron Spelling for NO reason but yes, they chose Alyssa over Shannen…
They had also personally talked it out in recent years and Shannen said she was putting it behind her, so we need to as well… she was never going to be bffs 4eva with Alyssa, but they were cordial at the end… and remember, they were all “young and dumb” back then, different people, pre-children/marriage, pre-maturity, pre-life, pre-cancer, pre-growing up, etc. let it go like they had and move on!

There was also an apology letter written from the person that fired her. If I'm a terrible person to work with and my being fired was justified... why am I getting I apology letter? So it wasn't her. Clearly you've never had anyone jealous of you and don't know the length people will go based on that feeling. I need y'all to actually think, research and analyze information before commenting.
@@QueenMean2131 “Clearly”, you’re not the Uber fan YOU think you are… I’ve seen and heard and read the same things you have over the years and remember them as they happened too growing up in the 80s and 90s. She wanted to be remembered as a good person… and she was, but she wasn’t a saint!
As for the proof you seem to need when she admitted it… one of the more recent times she mentioned it (and maybe you should re-listen to her talking about it with her own voice saying it if you don’t believe me) was on Jason Priestley’s podcast - "I definitely went through a lot of growing pains on that show. There was beautiful moments for me, and there were really hard moments for me. Towards my last season, I was in a really horrible marriage and there were things transpiring in that marriage that made it very hard for me to consistently be on time for work. And I know that that became a very big problem for the rest of you, because as it should be, because if everybody else is on time and you're waiting for one person, it sucks."
I would like to thank you three for the series magical witches Charmed, you are my favorite actress who I will really miss and I watch your repeats on German TV. Shannon I wish you all the best in heaven, watch over us as angels, you will be remembered as long as the series Charmed is on or other series, my heart hurts when I heard you left us, I wish the family a lot Power and she watches over you. I stop watching that show after Shannon left, you know her and holly was the closet, like real sisters, you can tell it hit Holly hard by her acting 🫶🏾👼🏾. Shannon was the heart of that show. And you know the creepy thing about it? She had to grieve her twice; once on charmed season 4 and secondly now in real life. So fucking weird and af!!! 😢

I've always felt like Holly did an excellent job as Piper grieving Prue on Charmed.
IDK if it's just a testament to her acting skills or if she drew inspiration from real life and the drama around Shannen leaving but she made the audience believe she really lost her sister.

When Shannon cancer came back her anxiety all time high. Connected with her on TH-cam working with Shannon threw nutrition, meditation, prayers, following doctor plan of care explained to her your mind controls organs ultimately health effected. Encouraging positive insights, energy, happiness doing things you love overcoming difficult situations realizing enjoy life to the fullest. Mindset we worked on gave her qualities of life pro longed over a year. In my heart clearly helping each other makes a difference. At the end of the were all human.

Who is going to pick up where Shannen left off by trying to save horses and ending slaughter and finding homes for dogs on the euthanasia list at shelters? I mean some of us are trying but we don't have a big voice or platform like Shannen did.

Hi no they’ve been friends before charm. It’s been 31 years since they known each holly said since she was like I think 18 or 19 years old and charm happened when they became in their early to mid 20s and also Alyssa was a little bit jealous because those two new each other before they started in charm.

As for her being fired IMO she does hold some culpability for the 90210 firing since she was often late due to personal issues (marriage on the rocks) but it's also always seemed to me like they were looking for an excuse to get rid of her. Pure speculation but I suspect she didn't play the Hollywood Kiss Ass Game as well as others.
As for Charmed IMO that was purely b/c Alyssa threatened to sue and the producers didn't want that negative press. An actress with a "rep" for being "difficult" was the perfect scapegoat.
