    I don't see how you cannot enjoy the room. It's _so bad._ It's a masterpiece of awful decisions in film making. It deserves its cult status and I wouldn't change a thing about it.

    The unfortunate thing is that the people who don't want to face their uncomfortable nature of their actions, feelings, decisions are extremely incapable of handling others pointing them out. This even comes in the media they make/comsume: they want their power fantaises without any depth or analysis, any sign of their flaws or others perspectives.
    I want to believe Tommy has at least learn something (personal or filmmaking wise) with the reception of the Room at the time of release. Because if not, then all the praise (ironic or not) is going to feed that sense of "rightfulness" he was trying to achive with the room.
