In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Ascetic with an Ability Spam Items focus! Ascetic is the strongest skull added from the DLC Myths pack, and that's due to his ability to generate incredible i-frames on his skills while also doing metric tons of damage. Genie is much the same with his i-frame generation on his skills, but the issue Genie runs into is his overall damage output suffers in return. For whatever reason, South Paw decided to eclipse Genie for no reason and make Genie but better. The only thing Genie has over Ascetic these days is he generates way more i-frames, but unfortunately for our poor friend it ain't enough to give him favor over Ascetic. Jerkules is simply too powerful, and although I'm a little sad for Genie, I still love Ascetic a lot. Ranting aside, he's very good at many archetypes, but today's archetype of focus is Ability Spam Items! This archetype centers around taking as many items as you can that activate after using your skills, and mish and mash them all together to create absurd amounts of damage. Items such as Olive Tree Cudgel, Bone of Mana, Mage's Necklace, and Manatech Gravity Generator are staples of this playstyle. On top of it all, we perch up the run with the immense power of Treasure+ to really drive it home. So, that's today's run: Ascetic with Ability Spam Items! Joined by Mage, can this masterful spamming duo take it to the end game gauntlet for another banger run?

What shaulkk said, there's definitely some of y'all who would want to see the new Community Voice update on my channel, but there's a silent majority who see modded runs and don't watch. It's sad, but it is what it is. I will be playing it tomorrow on my Twitch channel at around 3:30 PM EST or so.

forgot to ask that on the slave run but why do you think he’s good at ability spam item i don’t get it

I think because he has a skill that can be used like 3 times if it is fully loaded

​@@shaulkknah that other guy is tripping or talking about someone else, all of slave skills are single hit, single cast. But on the haxa question, i think is a combination of reason: his cooldowns are decent, he is a balance skull which mean he has innate skill cooldown speed from the witch traits on top of being able to use full mana bone and ritual staff, one of his skills just has its cooldown refreshed if you do the parry, and one of his passive effects is that his skills just gain like 30%(?) Of their cooldown when you parry.
Now i dont remember the actual text of demigod's things, so i may have gotten something wrong but i think most of it is correct.

I wouldn't say he's "good" at ability spam items for the record, just it's one of the archetypes he can actually play is what I mean. He has relatively low cooldowns, his parry mechanics compliment it, and since his damage is low in and of itself dealing damage via items is a way to overcome that. Basically, it's an archetype that gives him something to do besides just generate i-frames.
