Same. I can’t even count how many times I’ve been sitting on the couch watching TV and my parents or siblings walk through the room and not even see me there, like they would come back in and turn off the TV and only realize I was there when I turned the TV back on. It makes hide and seek pretty easy to win though. But there have been a few times where people just forgot I was playing and I fell asleep waiting for them to find me.

U are the only one who thinks that about yourself. Plz treat yourself the way you would treat ur Best friend. You don't deserve to be hated by urself

    This opened up my eyes!
Some girls were saying they wish they were bigger and could gain weight and some were saying they wish they were smaller and could lose weight. Some were saying they’re too loud and some were saying they’re too shy and wish they could be louder. It makes you realize that it’s hard to really love yourself for who you are. But it also makes you realize that there are other people out there (MAYBE EVEN YOUR SISTERS) who want to be just like you. something that you might be so insecure about there could be other people wishing they had it. It’s so hard to learn how to love yourself but once you do it is the best feeling in the whole world. It takes years and tons of patience but once you do, you will feel unstoppable. 💗

This is not a solution for everyone. But I was painfully shy around guys in high school. I made the decision to go to women's college and it was so valuable. I was surrounded by smart women who supported me, I wasn't afraid to share my opinions because we had each other's backs. That "family" helped me grow and gain confidence in myself. I learned I don't need to impress guys, because the right person for me will see me for me. My friends have had similar experiences.
My mom was afraid I'd come out being more shy and not knowing how to interact with guys, but I came out confident and not giving a shirt what guys thought of me because I knew my own worth. :)

To Christina: I love that you pointed out that perfect is not the price we pay to have an existence and be considered human, there is no wrong way to be a real woman
To Kath: I can relate in many ways to the personality though I am an introvert, the few people I can stand being around I talk to way too much, I’m also very emotional and would love to be friends with you
To Lisa: Thank you for not wearing any makeup in this video, it helped prove your point about body image and that it usually isn’t the heart of our problems, I guess I need to dig deeper to realize that I do have a worth
To Amy: I’m also very short but surprisingly it’s also not my biggest physical insecurity, though many people call me “thin” and “fit” I don’t have a thigh gap, I don’t have a flat stomach, I don’t have completely toned arms, but it’s okay.
To Lauren: As someone that gets social anxiety a lot, what you said really helped, I don’t need to be outgoing! I will repeat that to myself until I believe it.
And finally To Dani: Unfortunately I also avoid my emotions, I don’t cry, like ever, I don’t let myself, but what you said in the podcast really resonated with me, not the makeup but feeling the need to look better, I really hope I can get to meet you one day, love you all❤️

What Lauren said at the end about being shy was exactly what i needed to hear. Im almost 21 and have been quiet and shy my whole life. College has been kinda hard because everyone always comments on how quiet i am. One weekend i was at a friends house and her dad and another friend’s boyfriend would not stop talking about how they have never heard me speak when they clearly have and they even started to count how many words i would say when i talked. PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN THAT QUIET PEOPLE KNOW THEY ARE QUIET AND CONSTANTLY COMMENTING ON IT OR COUNTING OUR WORDS ONLY MAKES US FEEL BAD ABOUT OURSELVES!!!!!!

I never like being quiet so when I started taking more I would hate it when people would say your so quiet to some of my friends but I wouldn’t really say anything so next time I know exactly what to say. Dear Amy,
I'm so glad that you've come to a peace with your body. You've taught me that my body image doesn't matter as long as I accept myself. Your personality is great, and never let anyone tell you any different. Keep being positive. You're doing a great job.
    Dear Lisa,
It's good that you took the time to dig deeper about why you felt the way you did. I feel as though I can connect with you on a more personal level as far as low self esteem. I used to think no one liked me or loved me. And really, it was all in my head. Just remember that you've got a great support system and you'll always be loved.
    Dear Dani,
I'm really glad that you don't hang out with the people who pointed out your flaws. I used to think that it was important to be liked by everyone. Even if they really didn't like me. Our inner thoughts are always scary to think about, but it's always good to have someone you can vent to. Make sure you don't separate yourself from the ones closest to you. I love you.
    Dear Lauren,
I've never thought about challenging myself in that way. You're really brave for doing that. Don't even worry about your skin like that because you're drop dead gorgeous. It's actually really cute that you're shy. I know that a lot of guys like that in a girl. It also makes you mysterious in a way. Own it girl.
    Dear Katherine,
Never feel scared about how much you talk. I know a few people who talk a lot, but they are the smartest people I know. Don't feel like you have to hide your skin. My biggest insecurity is my legs and I remember constantly wearing pants all the time. Then I stopped caring and started wearing shorts. No one said anything about my legs when I did. It's all in your head. Keep your head up.
    Dear Christina,
I'm really glad that you have someone to come along side you to boost your self esteem. You are really witty and funny. And it's one of your best qualities. So I'm glad that you have the personality that you do.
I Know You'll Never See This, Buuuut...
You are all AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL young ladies that fill this world with positivity, laughter, confidence, and music that comforts our hearts for when we need someone to be there for us. Keep surrounding yourselves with positive influences. Remember that God made you, and He never makes any mistakes. Stay positive, stay true, stay beautiful, and stay you. I love you all.

I totally relate to Lauren because I'm a quiet person, too. I realized that I'm a good listener awhile ago and that I'm genuinely interested in listening to other people an asking questions and that such a good quality to have, to actually care about what someone has to say. The only bad thing about being quiet is that some people take advantage of that and when you want to tell a story or have something to say they don't really listen and return that sense of caring about what you're saying but it's not your own fault they choose not to listen, not sure where I was going with that but great video guys it's so helpful!

Cait totally agree with you!! I always listen to people, try to help them and hardly judge whatever they‘re telling me. Whenever I try to get something off my chest too they look at me, sometimes don‘t even respond with even one word and go back to their own story. Says more about their personality tho than about mine. Don‘t ever lose your emphaty and care, you eventually find the right people in your life who will give you the same amount of respect and care that you give them

I just love how this band is so real and just actual human beings. Nowadays it’s so common to see on the music industry many artists that portray a persona or a facade that is just not true to themselves. They show themselves as if they were perfect. Cimorelli it’s just not like that, they’re six beautiful, real and kind girls that just happen to be talented musically but they still make you feel so close to them, and feel the same as them. You can relate to them and see how they just struggle the same way as you do. They’re great role models and they definitely help people and their fans to see how you can overcome all this stuff you maybe insecure about.

What Lauren said really hit home for me and this video couldn't of come at a better time. This week for some reason I've been struggling with being a quite person. I'm 23 and have been shy my whole life. It takes me forever to open up to someone. I think why I'm struggling this week is because one of my college professor keeps pointing out in front of the whole class that I'm quite. I think next time they say something I'm going to just say "there's nothing wrong with being quiet" lol Thank you girls for always being so real.

I relate to Dani so much on hiding feelings and feeling embarrassed of them, because it's something I struggle with. on one hand I always want to tell people how I'm feeling but if they ask me how I'm doing or complement me I will shut down. It's like I can love other people but I wont let other people love me because...I suppose I'm not in control of those feelings, and it terrifies me? I always feel like a burden when I tell people how I actually feel, because it's something I suppose I try to hide. And both what Lauren and Christina said speak to me because on one hand,I'm a very quiet person. I read books and when I feel uncomfortable I either shut down or become unnecessarily loud. My other side is that I love being surrounded by people and cracking jokes and being careless, but again when faced with uncomfortable situations I because so awkward and loud to cover up my discomfort. I always either feel sorry for not talking enough or talking to much. I really need to work on that and learn to act in those situations and push past them and face my situations head on instead of hiding.

Am I the only person who relates so much to Katherine?😁 I'm also talking so much, like all the time you see me, I'm talking, just the whole time. I think it's just really difficult to stop yourself in that kind of 'flow'😁 but after talking and telling people stories about literally everything and everybody, you just think: Why I just said that? Was it too much? Why I just can't listen to people? It's really important to realize that other people who are more quiet, like your stories and all your emotions you're showing in telling them. 😊 (Sorry if there are mistakes, I'm not English)

I relate to what Lauren said. I also went through stages of being shy, from extremely shy to shy at times. It never really fully went away, cause I still have days when I am really quiet and uncomfortable. I go through times when I am very open and sometimes I just can't bring myself to open my mouth and speak up. It really holds me back from doing as my true intentions are - and they are usually to be friendly.

LISA is so Smart! I remember she shared some insta stories and I still keep her words:
" Dreaming is important but without action it is USELESS. Take care of you body, not to look good but to have energy and be able to do whatever it takes to get your work done. Don't be a victim of your life. This is your chance. Take it."
I decided to translated to Spanish and shared her words, obviously it was so much more than this, and I was amazed of how many people liked and think a lot about what she said.
All this girls are a true inspiration, and I really appreciate when they shared something really personal, cause it's not easy.
But here I am, getting sleep and preparing to go to church tomorrow and I learned something really special, I'm a daughter of God, and even when I'm not perfect he loves me perfectly, and even when I have a bunch of insecurities, I still can find answers to my prayers in this TH-cam video.
    Thank you Cimorelli FAM. :)

I'm so connected to Lauren's struggle with being shy. I'm 28 years old and still struggle with this. I'm able to make conversation...most of the time anyway lol. But when I get home, to my serenity, I'm exhausted lol. I really need my alone time in order to function. As a kid though my teacher wrote on my report card to my mom, saying I was quote "painfully shy". So it's definitely been a journey and a significant struggle...ESPECIALLY during my school years! But thank God for growing older and wiser and way more accepting and appreciative of yourself you become. ♡

I relate so much to what you said about being "too skinny" Christina. I've always been a size 0, I still am and I'm 23 years old now. And what people don't realize is that somehow it's okay to attack someone's size 0 and call them "too skinny", "anorectic" or "a stick" etc (I hear all of these on a daily basis) because they are within what people think is a "beauty standard". And whenever I try to tell people that I don't think it's fun or that their words make me sad, they always say "Dude, you're not allowed to complain because you're skinny". I've always been ashamed of being skinny. Sometimes I have to find clothes in the child section because nothing else fits me, and I've tried so many times to gain weight but it's literally impossible. And people don't realize that it can hurt just as much when people comment on a tiny body as it does when people comment on a bigger one. It's just a body, and you shouldn't be allowed to attack anyone's body no matter what size.
Sorry for thing super long text. Anyway, thank you so much for inspiring all of us every day to love and accept ourselves just the way we are

Lisa and Lauren are honestly my favorite people in Cimorelli. Lauren's high notes are super unstoppable.her voice is beautiful.(all the girls in Cimorelli have amazing voices) She is super kind and sweet like a cupcake. Lisa is just the reality of this world. She's unstoppable as a person. She belts her notes when she sings and it's beautiful. And she is brutely honest which I like😂😂 I absolutely love them both.

I relate to you all in some way, I'm also sometimes too loud and too talkative and then are other days or weeks or months when I'm shy and quiet and awkward. I have had so much issues about my body because I'm also short and chubby (not that Amy is chubby, I am) and I have been so insecure about it for the longest time and only now starting to accept my body, my mind and my personality the way I am (I just turned 26 in December). I've come a long way and still have some more to go but I'm really proud about myself and I'm also proud about you girls for having the guts to speak up and to make a video like that to help other girls like you. We need to be more compassionate about ourselves and about others, try to cheer along and support each other and ourselves, not to tear us down. We are all beautiful in our own unique way and the people who love us don't care about our looks but what's inside, that's the most important thing that really matters. Love yourself and love others, spread love instead of hate 🤗

It’s crazy how insecurities work! It’s just yourself tearing you up. We are our own biggest critic. EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET OVER THEMSELVES!! Haha it’s funny how that works but we are too involved in it and how we want to be or look instead of loving it for who you are.

  • @xo6640

'if the person can't fix it in less than 10 seconds, don't point it out'. it's really not hard. don't point out the person has pimples/acne. they know. they point out the person is fat. they are insecure about it. don't point out that the person is skinny. they are probably trying to gain weight. don't point out that people have a big or small nose. it could run in their genes. don't point out that girls have facial hair. it's normal. don't point out that girls are hairy. they have to constantly shave and wax, why point it out when boys do not have to. don't point out negativity. everyone has insecurities, pointing it out makes it worse. think before you say. I've been bullied in primary school and high school, it's not okay

  • @alexiajd

So I’m just watching this video and I initially found it kinda crazy how Lauren has the same personality issue that I have with myself. Not that I thought that I was the only person in the world who struggled with being shy and not speaking up, but it’s so comforting to hear that someone goes through the same things that I go through. And I also found it even more crazy to see and read all the comments of other people that are insecure about how quiet they are. Sometimes it feels like you’re the only person in the world who struggles with something until you find someone who comes out and shares that they deal with the same things as you. Thanks a lot for this video!! I know it must’ve been hard to be vulnerable with so many people. From the outside I would’ve liked to assume everything is perfect with you guys but it’s so good to know that you’re just as real and human as me.

I absolutely feel like Lauren too. Actually, it depends on what people are around. When I'm with my family, I'm not quiet at all but when I'm somewhere else, I'm super quiet. I just never really know what to say. Well, sometimes I do but usually not. I'm really bad at keeping a conversation going and especially beginning a conversation. If someone starts a conversation about a topic that interests me very much, I can talk and talk and talk and have no problem to keep the conversation going then but unfortunately that happens so seldom.. :/

Honestly? I love the way I am and once I have complete understanding that everybody is different and maybe I will not be liked by everybody and that that's ok, I know I'll be ok.❤
