These are almost exact copies of those they used in 1900, saw a very old black and white video recently, of gentlemen in tweed jackets going break neck speed on these but also some were using poles like skiers.
We keep regurgitating old designs, electric scooters were all the rage in 1917!!

i saw that too a couple of days earlier, i think youtube algorithm suggesting that videos nowadays and he also inspierd from that video.
I have a pair of "skates" with this kind of design, with the exception that it has a flat platform to stand on instead of connected boots so that you can wear any kind of shoes to use and the tiny rear wheels also have drag pads for breaking.
They're so much more effort to use since it's like skating with ankle weights attached and you can't stop with a T stance as the wheels want to continue spinning but perpendicular from each other so you essentially get your feet swept out from underneath

Reinvented the 1920 French skates
I think that these big wheels should be 2 times smaller and the support wheels 0.5 times bigger. Because the overall wheight would be smaller. Everything else fits well so far, but better designs wait to be found.

I ride my e bike wearing rolling blades on feet. I just stand up and get more speed, distance, battery 💪. I have heavy cargo and using my rolling blades compensate the weight of decreasing 100plus pounds.
