The two halves of main bridge' central span will be connected in about 3.5 months time. That's around end of September till middle of October this year if no significant delays occur. That was the statement from a COWI personnel - COWI is CCLEC's Engineering Consultant.
Once again great views of the bridge and of Cebu City. Hopefully I will be able to visit PI soon after CCLX is finished and I will drive across it and walk across it also, if they will permit pedestrians onto the bridge. When pedestrian were allowed to walk on Marcelo Fernan bridge, I was one of the early birds there, it was a cool experience. How much more with CCLEX? Pretty sure its gonna be fun, broh! With regards to the 4th, I still don’t have enough information to create a video but I am planning to visit the start point site soon. But when I looked at the architectural rendering, it connects to a coastal highway in mandaue north reclamation. Anyways, il be making a vlog about it soon. Thanks broh as always! 🤙🙂🇵🇭

Mukhang malaki rin ang kinaing space ng matabang pylon - hindi ba delekado sa motorista na biglang kumipot ang lane? At saka kung isang hilera lang ang stay cables sa gitna ng tulay, mas stable ba ang single tower kaysa pair of towers? Kung may lateral force, tulad ng wind and earthquake, hindi ba subject to shear stress ang palibot ng pylon? At mas economical ba kung tig- isa lang ang pylon sa magkabilang span ng stayed cable bridge kaysa magpares o dalawa?
Kong 85m nlng ang kulang para magdugtong ang bridge malamang sa September or Early October magkadugtong na yan sa 6m per span sa bawat side sa duration ng 15days bawat kabit at buhos ng span. Credible na matatapos yan by the end of the year at 3 mos more para sa commissioning at finishes and touches.
