I have found several versions of Frank Sinatra singing Blue Moon. I guess the New Vegas version was remastered because it sounds the nicest :3 "It's me again, Mr. New Vegas, reminding you that you're nobody 'til somebody loves you. And that somebody is me. I love you."
"Oops, I better put on my newsman fedora. This just in, a Legion camp was attacked and overrun by a single man today. Reports say he was cloaked in power armor and wielding a fatman."
"You've made your last delivery, kid. Sorry you got twisted up in this scene. From where your needing it must seem like an 18 Karat run of bad luck, truth is... the game was rigged from the start."
When I hear this song all I think of is the opening cutscene and seeing the empty lucky 38 as it goes out into the streets and you see the drunk NCR troops and gamblers and the securitrons patrolling the streets. Then it cuts to the overview shot of New Vegas and the NCR ranger snipes the fiend right in the head as it shows you a Legion squad moving out in the distance. This opening does so many subtle things beautifully. The level of mystery surrounding the strip and the factions and Mr House himself had me playing all day and night.I remember walking into the strip for the first time it was like 6 am and I was dead tired but I just kept wanting to play more and more
And then suddenly it appeared before me The only one glitch that I will never love I heard somebody whimper please kill me And when I looked the whole game froze
Blue moon You saw me standing alone Without a dream in my heart Without a love of my own Blue moon You knew just what I was there for You heard me saying a prayer for Someone I really could care for And then there suddenly appeared before me The only one my arms will hold I heard somebody whisper please adore me And when I looked to the moon it turned to gold Blue moon Now I'm no longer alone Without a dream in my heart Without a love of my own And then there suddenly appeared before me The only one my arms will ever hold I heard somebody whisper please adore me And when I looked the moon had turned to gold Blue moon Now I'm no longer alone Without a dream in my heart Without a love of my own Blue moon Now I'm no longer alone Without a dream in my heart Without a love of my own

Morons or not, there're locations bound to be behind in recovery, DC is just one of those locations. I still don't see your argument, it fits well into the lore to have a location which is different, you can't expect ALL locations to thrive after a nuclear holocaust, not even 200 years after. DC is just one of those locations.
***** Thing is, if the location doesn't thrive within 200 EFFING YEARS, people would quit and settle in some new places instead which is the logical thing to do. Why stick around in the Capital Wasteland then? In Fallout 1 there is a highly-irradiated place called "The Glow" and people don't build settlements around that because, you know, it's not wise to live there? Moreover, if Shady Sands, a little village in the middle of California desert which was harassed endlessly by Radscorpions and the Khans, could thrive into a super-power called NCR, then why can't people in the Capital Wasteland do the same (or less successful than them, maybe - i don't care) during that 200 YEARS period? Even the less successful settlement like Klamath has farms and brahmin pens and shit, and that's 100-or-so years after the War. That's right, it can only either be that people in DC are stupid -OR- Bethesda can't write a good story even if their lives depend on it.

@@horizontk not really, music has a very large aspect in most games. Skyrim doesn't have very iconic tracks, especially nothing from the legendary Frank Sinatra, I'm just sayin.
Tell me a song from skyrim aside from the main theme that people know and like Honestly i feel there was a missed opportunity for more noticeable music in skyrim, imagine if it had combat music, that's one avenue they could've explored with music that wasn't just ambient music

This was the song I would listen to religiously at the height of my Buffout addiction. I was so alone and only a Sexbot could understand me. Wang Dang Atomic Tango!
So the other day I was feeling shot because i lost my GF over a month ago but I decided a little fallout OST would help. I finished off my binge with this song. hours later a friend of mine said she's wanted to 've with me for two years and I made her happier in one day than her boyfriend has in a year. Played this while on my way to the Casino resort. Windows down, fancy lights, dressed up nice and a cold one at the bars…Nothing like it.
Going to replay this game now regardless of the glitches don't care still better than some of the garbage that's out now.
Big facts
hey, just in case you dont know, there are mods that fix a lot of bugs
Played this game alot during the covid quarantine winter days, it was so much fun and the memories i made Traversing the world of new vegas will never be forgotten.
I'm a fetus and i think todays music sucks, this is real music.
+One Unknown This sucks, 12th century gregorian monk music is the real deal.
+Alinator420 Gregorian chants are the shit.
I REALLY MISS CAVEMEN SONGS
You guys are all so basic. I prefer listening to the silence before the big bang.
fuck off Im a sperm and I know that Beethoven is better than this modern Frank Sinatra shit
God I love this game, so many memories of exploring the wasteland hearing these songs play best fallout game by far
Listening to Frank Sinatra’s blue moon while I play new Vegas in game really entertains me. Plus it really fits the intro of fallout new Vegas & is really a great classic to listen to.
I’m 25 and thanks to fallout 40-50s music is a daily banger Lol the people in my town look at me funny when I roll through town listening to blue moon on max with the windows down
We makin it outta Goodsprings with this one 🗣️
man, New Vegas has one of the best video game intros of all time, hands down
The reason I like fallout more than Skyrim
That's a retarded reason
@@horizontk not really, music has a very large aspect in most games. Skyrim doesn't have very iconic tracks, especially nothing from the legendary Frank Sinatra, I'm just sayin.
Tell me a song from skyrim aside from the main theme that people know and like
Honestly i feel there was a missed opportunity for more noticeable music in skyrim, imagine if it had combat music, that's one avenue they could've explored with music that wasn't just ambient music
@@spartanwar1185 play combat theme when burglar brake into house
Spartan War118 belieeeve belieeeve, the dragonborn comes.
For real though, skyrim doesn't depend on music to set it's atmosphere like the modern fallout games do (not that it's a bad thing ofc).
Rip benny hes probably swinging with the big man.
Compelled to play this every time I crack open a Blue Moon.
War.. War Never Changes
We're a bit past that now.
Here, have a notification.
And another one!
I'd like but you have 69 so noice
If war doesn't change, men must change, and so must their symbols. Even if it is nothing at all, know what you follow, Courier...
Patrolling the Mojave Almost Makes You Wish For a Nuclear Winter

Lyrics: Blue moon, you saw me standin' alone
Without a dream in my heart, without a love of my own
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for
You heard me sayin' a prayer for
Someone I really could care for
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper "please adore me"
And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold
Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper "please adore me"
And when I looked, the moon had turned to gold
Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
This was the song I would listen to religiously at the height of my Buffout addiction. I was so alone and only a Sexbot could understand me. Wang Dang Atomic Tango!
Wife: why do you keep playing that game?
[speech 100] Honey the strip isn’t going to save itself.
Wife: (success) Fine
"Play it with me."
'Remember you're nobody till somebody loves you..and that somebody is me, I love you'- Mr New Vegas.
So the other day I was feeling shot because i lost my GF over a month ago but I decided a little fallout OST would help. I finished off my binge with this song. hours later a friend of mine said she's wanted to 've with me for two years and I made her happier in one day than her boyfriend has in a year.
Guess the moon is gold for me now.
Lunaseur So...
What your saying is...
If I just listen ti this song a lot...
I can get a boyfriend?
GUESS WHO'S LISTENING TO THIS 24/7
I’m curious, how’s it going between you two right now
This was a year ago... how about now?
I'm intrigued, tell me more.

+AJCairel Breaking news: It isn't sick. Its generic! (Thank you Bethesda, for raping Fallout along with your own IP The Elder Scrolls)
AJCairel How wrong you were.
