Here I am again, Hollow with his binaural mic telling stories about worlds far away. Since the beginning, my goal has been to develop my voice acting abilities through my audios, while comforting the listener and taking them on an adventure through the worlds of big characters. His drawing is so fast, almost aggressive. No hesitation, no doubt about the lines.
Except for a moment, when Shale ask us to turn our head. For a moment there are softer longer lines, like a caress. Saying goodbye with a pencil.

shale i SWEAR, i will drag you to the surface if i have to. not happening on my watch, no sir-ee.
seriously though, i really adore this series. i don't doubt there'll be some sort of tragedy in its ending but my god, the king will kill shale without hesitation if he stays behind after helping the listener escape. i'm also starting to see why the king is so jealous - shale isn't exactly being subtle about his feelings when the listener negotiates to see his drawings!
speaking of subtle, i love the world building with shale unable to really imagine just going to school to learn to draw - we haven't seen much of this setting outside of whatever palace the listener is confined to, and it's so deeply telling. i'm still lowkey wondering about shale's motives, since even he admitted the listener should he suspicious, and whether it is just that selfish affection he mentioned or his apparent self-hatred for his people (which that quote sums up neatly) is playing into both his feelings for the listener and his desire for them to escape.

There has been a sense of desperation throughout this series, and it's been incredibly addictive to listen to the story. Our escape is going to get ugly, there's no two ways about it.

It’s interesting that the King still lets Shale guard us considering he’s waiting for them to touch us as a reasonable reason to kill him.

I haven’t listened to the audio yet, but why am I actually rooting for therax and listener? Like I actually kinda love them..? Idk, maybe it’s just my red flag colorblindness
Edit: I actually made a head cannon of this series where shale ends up to be the bad guy the whole time and ends up kidnapping the listener away
