Roy is my musical poppa. Love his music and wish I could've discovered the Corries earlier in my life. So sad he passed. Wish he were alive now. Still....I love you Poppa!!!!!

Yes he was! I discovered the Corries only a few years ago and I loved what I heard! I have his album Long Journeys South. Beautiful! He is missed. I do tributes to Roy on his birthday and the anniversary of his passing and I will have the Memorial Tribute in here on Saturday August 12. I'm in the States by the way
Such amazing talent! Much of the "Popular"? music of today cannot hold a candle to the both Roy and Ronnie had. You need to see many of their (The Corries) offerings to see the talent displayed. While a fan of many music genres, it i with sadness that I do not have enough of their work at hand. Thank you You Tube.
TH-cam is a great way to get introduced to The Corries - it's where I first found them, too. But - except this CD - almost all of their work and that of the Corrie Folk Trio is available through the Corries website (www.corries.com), Amazon, Music in Scotland and other retailers.The quality of the original is often much better than many of the videos you'll find on YT.
