    He is 100% correct here ladies. From a black woman to my sistas consider it this way. When we were little and our mama would take us to a party what would she say?
    "You betta act right, you bet not embarrass me."
    There is a time and place for everything, Ecclesiates 3:1-8, you cannot go everywhere acting any kind of way. Grown or not. As we mature we learn the importance of acting appropriately. You can get it together and act professional for your job right? Then get it together for your man!
    You want a man in high places? Become a woman who can operate in those spaces.

    I understand what he was trying to say. When we date, we date people from our environment, and there may not be many black women around successful black men as they rise. He was not trying to put down any one, he is just being honest

      It’s kind of like Tasha and Angela with Ghost on POWER show. Tasha was on the 1st level with Ghost; then Angela was on the 2nd level with Ghost that he felt that Tasha couldn’t handle or be on even though she was down with him from day, which i thought was sad and unfortunate. The thing is that gone one knows what’s going on within another person’s heart on the journey to success. That’s why it’s important to have a relationship with the Lord so that He can instruct and teach us in the way that we should go. We need to ask for discernment to see what we don’t see with our natural eyes -God does gives us signs; we just need to recognize them instead of ignoring them bc of fear. Also, we need to be intentional when it comes to love and not pick someone based on levels which is conditional and based on society’s standards and -“since I’m on a new level (success), I need a new woman to match where I’m at” which is kind of superficial and materialistic at best. This new person did not see you at your worst but at your best. When you truly love someone, you will love them unconditionally on both levels -before success and after success. Only God knows what’s truly in the heart of a person and the true intent of the heart is reveled through wealth, power and success (lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the pride of life).

    As a white german i'm obviously far away from relating to the situation black people have to face in america, but it couldn't onely be me, finding it strange, how you celebrated him liking black women. Shouldn't the point be just trying to be ourselfs and be open and not care about colours? Why do you seam to apply a kind of mirrorrassissm? it felt realy strange, how you couldn't stop smiling and seemingly made the whole Interview about prefering people of certain colours. Are you hoping to have a chance yourself or are just against mixed relatinships and if that's the case, what is wrong about them in you're eyes?
    And besides that something else, that crosses my mind, when I see interviews like that.
    Hearing about the poor livestandards black people have to live with in america I didn't understand, why there aren't more fleeing to europe. Why don't more leave that land and let americas economy feel, how important all those black bad treated people where for them?

    • @JazmynSummers
      @JazmynSummers  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Heeey I appreciate your thoughtful response. Its hard to understand if you havent lived under the oppression of racism. In a non racist society, color would never matter but we are fed the message from the time we are born that Black women are not beautiful, that they are inferior to white women and that white people in general are somehow better. It is a form of white supremacy so when a Black man upholds the beauty and dignity of a Black woman despite that constant messaging it is almost revolutionary. Sometimes people of different races just fall in love but the phenomena of so many successful Black men not just refusing to date black women but actually echoing the messages of white supremacy is incredibly painful to the Black women who have supported and "held them down" while they struggled to succeed and it is a reflection of the success of the messages of racism we receive in media, school and society daily. For example police devalue the life of people of color for the same reasons. BTW by dad is German He was born in a suburb of Berlin so I myself am "mixed" Thanks again for watching and I hope you'll subscribe so we can continue these conversations ❤️

      @Honey_and_me ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It may comfort you, that I haven't met anyone saying, that they see black women as inferior or ugly or something like this. For some it's just not their type, but they still see them as beautiful or "exotic" or just normal because that's, what they are, normal people.
      But on the outher hand, I've heard black or blackish people talking shit about white wamen. I have a friend whos dad moved here from africa and onely got in a relationship with her mother to get german citisinship and when he got that, he left her saying, that she should have known, that he never loved her, cause "obvious". He found himself a black wife in africa and brought her over. And sadly it's not uncommen here to get a not that confident white women to marry you, dump her and get yourself a pretty black girl and by that harm all good and honest black man who aren't trying to scam wamen for a citisinship. So yeah, I honestly personaly onely encounterd that the outher way around. Sure there are extremists, sadly there are some everywhere, but it's not a general far spret thought here, that skincolour makes you ugly.
      I for my self wanted to be black, when I was a child (people always want, what thes don't have...) and always made black gamecharakters, because I found them way more beautyfull than boring old white people. Nowerdays I don't care about colour anymore and am fine with being the basic white brownblondish german, but I've definitely never seen dark skin as something unestethik.

      Be quiet! You are German and don't understand what BW been through nor understand the racism we experience from the group of males we birth & support only to be discriminated AGAINST! Davinchi was wrong when he said that about BW. There are a lot of Black women who can and was raised to transfer over into that lifestyle. That's was the MOST ignorant comment he said and I am DONE supporting him & any other Black men who think like him which is sadly about 60-70% of Black men. But you are German so STAY OUT of Black American business! You cannot relate nor understand.💯
