@@keal8917 I'd probably give it around a 6 or 6.5, 7 feels a bit high, the extra deck lock is strong and a lot of people will just leave at that, erupt is searchable skill drain and majesty's and vanity's are very irritating to play against, storm-forth is also still a very strong card. The problem with the deck is bricking, that being that you need both a high level "monarch" and a low level guy to tribute off for them so if you only draw one or the other you can't play, because all your floodgates require you to control a tribute summoned monster. On top of that the main tribute engine in the deck that being Edea and Eidos are just handtrap magnets, a single imperm or ash will end your turn with very little followup, this means you might just end up cutting them completely which is a shame since they give you alot of recursion. I think people don't give the deck enough credit for what it can do, but a lot of the criticism is justified, sometimes the deck just feels too outdated.
@@sardinee4564this is pretty much it! , though I think its worth to mention that cards like ash blossom arent as much of an issue if you have atleast one eidos or edea , as well as monarch domain and a high level monarch. You can play edea or eidos first , catch the blossom effect and play domain to lower your level 8 to lvl 6 and still summon. This is a very situational strategy but i think it could save your game!! also are there any cards you would recommend to minimize your bricking chances?
I take it on players interest to quit master duel, some cards are programmed to be in opening hands more often than all other cards for marketing greed, quitting may be the best choice
Floowwandereeze is an ugly deyigned archtype that just benefits the Meta imo. My Taste are the Supreme king designed Monarchs, the literally destroyer of Worlds.
I wish there was commentary to help when to activate effect. I'm new and trying to learn this deck so it would be helpful. I still really appreciate the video I learned a little bit on how to use it thankyou
@@gachaaddict6322 nope if you playing no extra deck having maxxc even just one your chance have bricks card in your hand will be high imo most of time having no extra deck usually will always go first like true draco
@@kardeamichiru5191 there's always about 55% chance you'd likely get stop using Maxx C. I had a love/hate relationship with it, it's either they're stupid enough to continue their combos or just set card and pass if they're smart enough. Either it's only advantageous if you're a combo deck who can start with just 3 cards or else you're left with bricks.

None really and that is because a lot of the Monarch cards lock yourself and your opponent out. Also some Monarch effects won't work if you have an extra deck. It's what the archetype is designed to do and doesn't need an extra deck at all.

@@RasAlXander I don't think the backrow thing is that big of an issue they have great disruption and the only backrow clearer that is truly a terrible one is Harpy's It's otherwise hard for opps to clear backrow through erupt and the other disruptions like Ehther tributing monsters on their turn The bricks are a massive problem tho

Monarchs is good for beginners and you can easily build on it for different situations

Nah the Monarchs have no back row protection. I think if they got a monster they could negate spells/traps then yes it would be tier 0.
