Although she has acted in other productions before, I think SL was her first production involving kissing. Also, if it's not required, most actors will choose to press their lips instead of kiss kiss. Especially since kisses usually have to be recorded several times. The kiss at the contest was recorded 5-6 times. Not to mention that most kissing between couples is actually pressing lips, not kiss kiss
