- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new cleaning video with you! A clean with me for some awesome cleaning motivation for you! Cleaning up my whole house before the holidays, but after for ... now... youtube is weird. Let's get up and clean what we can while we have a spare minute or two of time! I go to tidying up my whole house today only to have it be destroyed a day later. It's fine... everything is fine... kind of. check my pulse I need a break from the chaos. One more week and I feel like the birthday / holiday festivities will be over and i'll be able to find a routine. maybe. I'll still have a pretty small baby so here's to hoping! Thanks for hanging out with me while I get some cleaning done and I hope it motivates you to get some cleaning done around your house! Homemaking motivation is what it's all about!

I love your videos Kim! I don’t think I could say it enough. I’ve been watching since before I became a mom and now my daughter is almost 2! You are such an encouragement. I know you struggle sometimes but sharing those parts of your life has been so helpful to me. I’m a secretary at a junior high which is grades 7, 8, and 9. We had a few of our special needs kids on the team. It was so perfect. Even the opposing team tried to help those wonderful special needs kids get a basket. Both sides erupted in cheers when they scored. What a wonderful learning experience for everyone.

I’m 66 & we (7 children) had to help my Mom with household chores & we used Murphy oil soap to clean the kitchen cabinets, stairs, bannisters, etc. watching you reminded me of those days. Good stuff…been around a long time. I don’t have to clean as often as you, yet, still use it. Good job!! Happy New Year ! More memories, growth, chores, recipes, Love, etc.

I am still traumatized by a babysitting job 50 years ago where the parents asked me to let their child cry until she fell asleep. Torture for both of us. Therapeutic to hear you talk about holding your baby. BTW, never worked for those parents again. PTSD!

I used to clean houses professionally. Murphys oil soap is what I used on cabinets and floors. Worked so well everyone loved how it smelled.

I don’t have kids, but I remember how the amount of toys really changed once I became 10 or so. I’m the youngest of 4. Gifts start really changing to being more expensive, but smaller like technology, clothes, decor, etc. just a few more years of toy explosions!

Have you thought of making a junk journal ? It is a way of putting family stuff together that cost very little and you have something very unique. It may not be your thing but there are so many different ways to make them, Joanna Clough is a good one to start with on youtube.
Thank you for posting a realistic life with kids. I have two and it’s nice to see that a messy house is a loved house. But that cleaning is possible! I feel like laundry and dishes and toys are never ending! 😅 Love your humor and your content is one of my most preferred to watch!

Oh! You know what I’m going to start doing? I’m going to get a 12X12 scrapbook and add my Christmas cards to them! That way I can see the growth over the years and see what patterns and stuff I did before. Can’t wait!

I am going to start a clean and declutter of one room at a time,starting in a basement bedroom. Since I am a person who gets overwhelmed I am giving myself a week to get through that room. Garbage thrown,donations out of the house to a new home, and organize what’s left.
