I absolutely love House of CB. There are not many brands that actually embrace the female body and make it look feminine and expensive. The prices are higher than other brands that I wear but it's totally worth it. I had no idea who owns it but now it definitely makes sense that a woman owns it 💜

She’s such an amazing and genuinely kind person! I still remember collecting dresses from her and providing cakes for her first store opening in Stratford. Meeting her wonderfully supportive parents was a real highlight. Her dedication and sharp business sense are truly inspiring-she absolutely deserves all her success!

Parents played a huge role in this success. So many people can do this and even more but parents and family stops them. I love everything about CB I wish I had supportive parents for real

I’ll be your supportive parent!!! I believe in you! You truly only have one life to live and experience, go all in even if it’s you vs the world.
Edit: because even if you fail or you succeed, you’ll end up dying either way so TRY!!!

Incredible story. I don’t think people realise the difference between starting a business and scaling a business to 250m in revenue a year profitably.
This must have taken unimaginable fortitude and consistency, especially in such a seemingly saturated industry.
This should be heralded as a great British success story.

Enjoyed the interview, however wish the interviewer didn’t interrupt her so much or not let her finish her sentences.

Top business tips from this pod:
    1. Have entrepreneurial parents
    2. Have a capital-free loan from parents
    3. Live rent-free with parents
    4. Go on paid holiday with parents to obtain market contacts and research
    5. Be attractive to gain interest
& according to the followers here..
    6. Work hard by looking at pretty things

@simonesquared that's probably true. I don't dislike her, she comes across as a strong and beautiful woman, but the discussion doesn't seem to offer anything for less advantaged people (we won't use the P word). Would you help me expand my mind a little further please?

      That is generational
Wealth- they gave her the skills and opportunity to build and grow rather than a spoilt attitude and entitled mentality to exploit their money… why does that bother you? Xxx

    • @briandickinson5479

stupid uniformed comment, her parents were doing furniture, not fashion.
A teenager that made a fashion brand empire from nothing is what then?
To suggest her runway was paved by her parents is rubbish. Parents these days spend more money sending kids to university, does that mean if parents pay our Uni we can not be an Entrepreneur?
HouseofCB is just one of her brands and as the podcast says, FOUNDER. She created and evolved the brand herself, its super succesful and continues to grow.
Thats Entrpreneur in my books, and an extremely successful one.
      👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

My parents have given me money to start and I’ve failed a lot of times. Hard work is still needed even if u have a good foundation. If you haven’t got her support find your tribe! They are out here and use TH-cam as your university

Next time stop cutting her off so much. She couldn’t finish a sentence without you inputting something.
