Wow, awesome setup. U got everything 2 have gr8 fishing experiences. Your vdo is gr8, love the way it has title 4 all your gears. Your dialog is short & concise. Thx 4 creating the vdo & sharing on Utube.
Nice setup! I had an Outback before I switched to a Pro Angler 360 -- the Outback is a great kayak! I did love those gear holders and the fact you can put your tackle boxes in there. And that box you showed has perforations for air flow -- nice! I'm a right-hander too, so like to keep things mostly on the left. Having a rod holder behind me was so awesome! I was surprised that you put your GoPro on the right, and LOVE that you can switch from front to rear! Awesome setup! I just got a new GoPro Hero8 and love your setup! Tight lines! Roger, The Smiling BassHole
Cheers Roger, took a while to get the set up to how I liked it but it works well. Super jealous of your PA 360! That would be awesome. Unfortunately they are abit too heavy for me
Nice video, I got an older model Outback in 2018 but it's had bugger all use so far, will try the Lake this summer for sure, watching these vids for some motivation! I like the storage trolley.
Really neat setup man. I own one of the older style outbacks, got it back in 2012. Great idea about storing the wheels tied down with the bungies at the back of the boat rather than in the holes (they always get in the way while fishing). I've got a few maintenance issues to sort out with mine, keep me busy during lockdown.
Drop the GoPro batteries and go to external batteries. That external battery you have for your phone will keep your GoPro charged for 12 hours straight and still have power left over. You just connect the USB directly into the GoPro and directly to the external battery(no GoPro battery inside the GoPro). I just hang the battery in a water proof phone holder and tie it around the Ram Mount. Now for the one on my Action Cap on me. I run the USB from the GoPro to the external battery inside my pocket. They even have some small 10,000 AMP external batteries half the size of regular ones that are lighter as well. You'll never have to do a battery swap while on the water again, which is a game changer.
@@TheFishAndTrips i have looked into what you use, but i am always dealing with water splashed on the lens. I just could not risk it. Thanks for sharing thought mate
Hands free would be awesome on my Yakangling channel. This would make Bass fishing so much more fun. I will need to consider one of theses Hobies. Great Video
Hey, I have had no issues with my outback. I think I have owned in for 3 -4 years now. I store it in garage and always wash it and the drive after every session. Well worth the purchase
Hi, sorry for the delay in reply. I don't find it hard at all, I can easily turn around on my seat and get what I need. I have changed my set-up since this video, I use the Hobie H crate instead of the esky.
hey mate, i have owned a few. I had a cheap Ebay special to test out kayak fishing, found out I loved it so bought a 2nd hand Hobie Outback 2012 model Sold that a year later for a moterbike, regretted that so a year later bought the Hobie Compass. Ran with that for a year and then upgraded to the outback.
Hi Zac, it's a clip that came already installed when I bought the kayak. If you would like to see a picture of the clip message me on instagram. I have bought clips similar in the past, I'm unsure what you would call them.

Great set up. 9:53 is that bananas in the esky? 😯
Hahaha it might be, would explain the lack of fish caught after filming hahaha
I actually have been waiting for a video like this, I have always seen yours as a battleship of a kayak😂
Sorry it took so long 😅 was well overdue. It is abit of a battleship. Hahaha
Another great video, looking forward to your next video
Thanks Daniel, hope it gave you a few ideas for your new Kayak.

My first hobie was the older style outback. They are a good kayak.
Thanks mate. Really helps with storage
Great video mate such a underrated channel, you deserve a lot more subs than what you have certainly earned my sub and like
thank you so much mate! Comments like this keep me going! Its a slow grind but its what i enjoy doing. Thanks for watching
Well done mate. Fantastic set-up. Dave
Thanks David, thanks for watching 😁
Another top notch video mate.
Thank you, 😁🙏
Nice video, mate. The USB ports in the centre hatch is a really good idea.
cheers mate, it doesn't charge my batteries as fast as I would like, but its good for a backup if needed. Thanks for watching
Nice run through and a Sweet set up mate. I love my outback.
Thanks mate, any ideas or tips you're willing to share?
My set up is very similar to yours. I’ll soon be fitting a power pole to help pepper spots in the shallows and not keep drifting over them.
Awesome man, I have been eyeing them off for a while. I love fishing the flats and it would really help.
Hello Chris, nice view and nice kayak
Thanks mate 😁

Man that’s a great setup! Great video walk through aswell!

thanks for the tips mate but i have been very worried about the go pros not being water proof. I get abit of splash from fish and waves
@@ChrispyyWings ahh ok. Yeah we fish the marshes down here in Texas, so waves and splashes isn't a factor unless it rains.

Best setup I’ve seen!

Great office Chrispyy
Not bad, gets the job done
I just upgraded to the 2019 outback thanks for the video
Not a problem, hope you enjoy the new yak. Excellent kayak I love mine
Awesome setup mate. 180 mirage drive comes with the kayak rite.
Thanks mate, I do believe it does.
I think when I bought mine it was an extra addon I needed to pay. But the newer models come standard now
Beautiful set-up!
Thank you 😊
Great video mate!
Thankyou, and thanks for your support

Hobies are amazing! Good luck with your channel
Nice setup mate 🤙🏽 we will have to catch up one day, I fish the lake regularly in a pro angler, theres a lot of kayakers in the lake these days
Yeah for sure! Im sure I will run into your on the water one day, make sure to say hey. Thanks for watching mate 😀
Nice setup mate
Cheers legend 🍻😁
you should do a video showing us all your tackle/rods/reels
That has been on the cards for a while. Just planning how I want to do the video.
@@ChrispyyWings josh d fishing did one, you should go check that out [ for ideas ]
Yeah watched his and Drew M's when they uploaded theirs.

Definitely a few things for the Wishlist in there.
Thanks mate! Glad it could help 😊
Hey mate hust wondering if u could do a fishing video in cockle creek
Hey mate, i have had a video planned there but with all this rain I'm worried it would've flushed all the fish out.
I will see what I can do
@@ChrispyyWings cheers mate i fish up there nearly every day and most of the Bream and flathead fulshed out because of the bloody rain
Thought that would be the case. Might try in a couple weeks
Cool set up, do you find it hard to access the esky behind you? Do you fish offshore much?
Hi, sorry for the delay in reply.
I don't find it hard at all, I can easily turn around on my seat and get what I need.
I have changed my set-up since this video, I use the Hobie H crate instead of the esky.
@@ChrispyyWings no probs, do u think it’s ok for offshore or better for estuaries and lakes
I have never fished off shore in my kayak.
I believe it would be hard turning around in rough water.
Did I see bananas in your esky?
Haven’t you heard never have bananas on your boat, it’s bad luck.
Well maybe it doesn’t apply to kayak fishing 🤪😂
Yes! I was hoping someone would pick up on this! My Pop made it very clear to never bring them on his boat. Hahaha
wow,,I seen bananas in your cooler! They wont let you on a boat here in Alaska with bananas
Hahaha I have heard that saying here in Australia. My pop doesn't let me on the boat either
hey mate, this is a great channel. what fishing kayaks have you had in the past?

finally someone that knows how to attach the wheels with the bungee. Everyone just sticks it through the scuppers...
Hahaha, yeah the wheels get in the way when in the scuppers
shes a beauty
She sure is! 🛥 👌
What part/piece did you use to lock the bunjee in for the wheelcart?
Hi Zac, it's a clip that came already installed when I bought the kayak.

Ah what a great guy
Thanks mate! Been looking for you out on the water
@@ChrispyyWings lots of covid work 😅 I'm only getting 1 day off a week
At least there will be plenty of cash for fishing gear now.
Where did you get the rolling cart from?
Do you mean the stand the kayak is on or the wheels I had mounted on the rear?
