Everytime the Cubs tried to come down the tree and follow their mother, the large Sow would charge them. She eventually climbed the tree and killed the cub. Then climbed down with the dead cub in her mouth, dropped it, and went back to feeding on the bait barrel.

These animals have to be thinned out. The area is obviously rich in bear populations. If left unchecked , the competition for food will force them to seek other options. You track them, hunt them and kill them as trophies or for food or, for pest control, you kill things at feeders. But - at least from the outside - those are not the same thing.

Fact. - The heavy breathing is caused by adrenaline turning to glucose in your lungs causing you to breathe heavier. Shooting big game, especially dangerous game is well known to produce lots of adrenaline. I know, it happens to me even when i shoot a deer. I get excited, breath heavy, shake, and get a bit lightheaded after the shot. It happens every time. Some hunters more than others. It's a rush just seeing a big game animal in the woods that close while it doesn't see you. It takes everything you've got to remain calm for an accurate shot.

If I were hunting a 300+lb killing machine I would want to be the one watching over them and they coming to me cos I’m pretty sure,l being charged or stalked in that environment would sometimes be detriment to one’s health.

How many pounds of game do you have in the deep freezer? I have over 75 pounds of freshwater fish alone in my freezer. I tagged out every year hunting since i was 16 years old. No, they grew up learning ethical hunting skills with their dads and grandads plus buying hunting licenses and heavily taxed guns and ammo. Cash well spent to pay for game law enforcement, young hunter education, and game preservation lands for hunter and non hunters alike to enjoy. Where does the cash from many non hunters go ? Not to preserve wild game, but to buy a home on a development that ripped down hundreds of acres of forest. Not saying it's your falt or theirs, but ignorance sucks. Hunters today are not the iron horse hunters of the 1800's killing Bison for fun. We care immensely about wildlife preservation. Your 1st comment is incorrect. You control your breathing, then exhale and hold only for a moment before you shoot for better accuracy. The animal won't smell it, it'll smell you first. Fact. - The heavy breathing is caused by adrenaline turning to glucose in your lungs causing you to breathe heavier. Shooting big game, especially dangerous game is well known to produce lots of adrenaline. I know, it happens to me even when i shoot a deer. I get excited, breath heavy, shake, and get a bit lightheaded after the shot. It happens every time. Some hunters more than others. It's a rush just seeing a big game animal in the woods that close while it doesn't see you. It takes everything you've got to remain calm for an accurate shot.
