Hello everyone, today we go through my predictions for the World Darts Championships 2024. Last Year I successfully predicted Michael Smith to beat MVG in the final. Can I do it again?

Whoever wins the semi showdown between MVG and Humphries will win it I think.
I might put a little wager on Wade finally getting the upset win in the twilight of his career. Littler may surprise people by how ready he is for the big stage, he is a special talent.
Wade should play Littler though
@@GeniusDarts I know and if they do play each other that game will be crucial for both of them. Ultimately I do lean towards Humphries vs MVG as being the decider for who will go on to win it.

@@FB21509 Thank you, no one could have predicted Scott Williams doing what he has done and I have throughly enjoyed watching him this tournament. I actually didn’t take my own advice there and instead I put a small wager on Littler as the outright winner. Even if he doesn’t go all the way the young gun has been unbelievable!
Not a bad prediction, even though you were way too optimistic on the odds of Peter Wright, Josh Rock and Nathan Aspinall. I totally agree agree with you on who will get to the semi finals as well as MvG beating Humphries in that match. In the final he will play either Anderson or Cross. I'm slightly more inclined to go for Rob Cross to advance to the final and lose to MvG in that match but would also love to see Gary Anderson get there.
I honestly want Luke Humphries to win, he's already won the Grand Slam of Darts and he's looking really good and consistent

Great to see you back on TH-cam. I agree with you on most of those results, however! I don't think De Sousa will progress, he has been on the decline for a while. Jonny Clayton will be lucky to string 2 wins together this year, Josh Rock hasn't been near last year's form so it could get tricky for him. And as for the final I agree Gary being there, but I think Humphries gets the better of MVG again. The winner 🤔 an absolute belter of a final, but I think Gary might get it over the line if he starts well and gets a big lead. Great video as always 👍🏼🎯
I think many people think it’s Luke/MVG and that that should perhaps be the final

I'm going for Anderson-Humphries final, and Humphries to win simply cause he's been so good, I can't see him get beaten in a best of 13 match.
Also, Luke Littler, I'm excited to see how he will do, saw some of his recent matches and holy moly, not too bad for a 16 year old 😲😳

He’s still young so plenty of potential plus he’s only been in the PDC for a year or two so he can do well like he showed in the grand slam. I hope he goes one better than the last worlds where he got to the last 16.

Also does anyone else think 96 players is over kill? It's gearing up to a 128 tournament eventually..
No, I don't. The 32 non-OoM players doesn't even always seem to be enough to properly cover the increasingly broad distribution of talent around the world either, and it wouldn't surprise me either if it eventually ends up getting to a 128 tournament as a result.
It's not all that difficult for example to start listing players from the Middle-East, (North, Middle & South) Africa and South-America who can play at PDC levels (some of whom we saw at the World Cup) but who missed out because there was only 1 or outright no regional qualifier for their region.
I see your point. There’s an argument it doesn’t really start until round 2 but more darts is good right? What else to do in December when it’s freezing?
