I've always said it. The underrated gems are the best. You appreciate how great the musicianship is and how awesome an obscure ballad shines better in the dark❤
I was 16 back in 1990 when I 1st heard this song over radio. Such a beautiful rock ballad masterpiece. Killer song & killer voice by Sandy. Well done Saraya...
Always loved this song. Best one on the Shocker soundrtack. Unfortunately I have no cassette player anymore, but am thankful for this TH-cam possibility.
It actually is Steve Lukather, as he was involved with this soundtrack. He is even credited on sites like Discog for the guitars on this song.@@erockscott1184
The other version (4:08 long) is supposed to be the 'album version,' but it cannot be found on either of Sayaya's two albums. Was it omitted by mistake? 🤔
It’s from the movie soundtrack, “Shocker,” that’s why you can’t find it on any of their EP’s. I have the single from the soundtrack (that’s where the album art comes from). There are two versions of this song: the original length song (album version) and the radio version (single edit, a.k.a. radio edit). I hope this answers your question.

Awesome song! My favorite '80s female vocalist!

Thanks for sharing!
If you made it to the end of Shocker (1987), then you've discovered a lost 80's gem.
@@DanielC.Kalodner That's a sequel?? Never heard about it!
Man, i still have this single CD in my stack. Timeless Love! Her voice was so good for rocker❤
Shocker was a so so movie but this song is timeless
This band is real cool.
Anyway to reach Saraya and ask if they can put this on Spotify? It's the only song of theirs that's not on there. 😫😞

Never heard that one...im sure it's actually a member of Saraya and not Steve...why would he play on Sarayas songs if he's not in Saraya???

That is as a matter of fact Steve Lukather. He was involved on the Shocker Soundtrack due to Desmond Child's involvement.@@erockscott1184

@@uxcitmeIt does: thanx a lot! 😊👍
It didn't appear on the original release but was added to a remastered version some years later. It is out there.

The movie (Shocker) was so-so, but the soundtrack surpassed the movie. Saraya should have been bigger than they were.
I recently listened to Eddie Trunk talk about this:

"Single Edit"?
Is there an album version?
