one thing everyone seems to ignore is that during its ATH, Cardano didnt really have much to offer yet. and just look at how far it came since!
Exactly, people didn’t care about what if could do and only cared about how much ADA could appreciate in value. Even though Cardano is substantially more advanced now vs. the last bull run, people won’t care. They’re only here for the profits. We’re so incredibly early.
Precisely. Cardano barely had functioning smart contracts at the end of last bull run in 2021. In 2017/18 it had a compelling whitepaper and approach, that was it. And despite those situations, ADA always has MASSIVE and quick pumps during bull runs. This time, with a nearly complete product, it'll still have its time to shine.

Also marketing is what you focus on when you want price go up. Charles doesn’t care about price go up. He cares about people not losing money on his blockchain via rug pulls, hacks etc. Cardano isn’t owned by VC’s like solana which is super centralized and can be taken offline. We need to see interviews with developers that are building their projects on the Cardano blockkchain. Especially those teams who have already built on Ethereum and who can speak clearly about the pros and cons and why they decided on Cardano. Many people can't get their head around the concept of crypto, and one of the best ways to help with that is to show them comparisons. You can take someone who's never heard of crypto and show them an honest list of pros and cons and without knowing anything about any of this space, they can easily figure out which blockchain to go with. Emphasis on "honest" ...list of pros and cons.

I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much
Cardano doesn't focus on hype right now because there is barely any retail interest in crypto at the moment. They focus on development of the technology when hype is low and pivot when the hype is high. I'm sure they have a plan ready to go when new all time highs start hitting the market again and retail comes back.
One of my favorite sayings.... if you have something worth bragging about, others will do it for you. Cardano doesn't need to advertise itself. It need to come up with a solution no one else has. That solution is true decentralization and governance ran by the people in a way that cannot be corrupted with ADA being the life blood of decision making and transactions. If it is a good product, the price and usage will take care of itself.
The "exciting" part about Cardano is knowing that it was built with first principles in mind: reliability, security, and decentralization. Low fees. Scalability incoming. Lot's of cool projects and ongoing development. I'm so EXCITED!

Good points and I agree but Charles doesn’t care about price like that. Cardano will still hit $7-12 dollars by the end of the year though, but it could definitely use a good marketing shot in the arm to boost it!
I kinda get what your saying but honestly, Cardano is going to be just fine the price is going to surpass all time highs this cycle easily I think the charts make that very obvious as well as the TVL growth and just the amount of time it has been in the market makes it a super solid option for people. Every project gets there fair share of hate but this is just the nature of the beast. Cardano just keeps moving forward and yeah, zero outages.

You are forgetting that many of the hack cryptos like SOL do not have a rigorous testing scheme as is seen how often it goes down. ADA does not go down. They are one of the most solid networks in existence. I see ADA emerging as one of the survivors and not some hack like eth, sol, etc.

Cardano moves more like a company stock instead of a short attention span narrative. I understand how it does not resonate with the typical crypto early adapter like other coins do, however, this is the tech traditional finance will pour into at an increasing rate. Ada is going to pump hard. No need to shill a product that is superior to the rest. Most crypto whales are intelligent and capable of realizing Cardano's superiority. I wouldn't worry so much. Ada is way better off from a price standpoint than the last time Bitcoin was breaking bull market doors. Ada is also way more developed for this years run as well. We can circle back to this video in 10-12 months...😂
Max, thank you for the Cardano coverage. Been following you and been watching your videos for some time now. I respectfully disagree with some of your statements. Cardano mission is far from being lost and their positioning in the top 10 is very clear since they have launched. Furthermore infrastructure updates are VERY important in 2024 and beyond because not one crypto has currently solved the blockchain trilemma and working towards solving this is the current key to mass adoption. Also you need to ask your self if a blockchain can REALLY handle all of these users coming on-board after your marketing proposals. With Cardano everything is calculated and plans for marketing will eventually increase so patience is key. Thank you again for your coverage!

I am a marketing enthusiast and came across this landmark marketing case. I agree very much with what you said, but would add that too much ego did/does not help. In addition, also noticed too much energy and time into third world corrupt countries (ie Ethiopia and now Brazil). I find it unlikely that anything possitive can be born among corrupt officials.

The problem with these suggestions is that for every "Cardano finds the bug ahead of time" article that comes out, there are 10 more from major news outlets that say "Cardano found another bug and their chain is still dead" -_-

BTC can be affected by which upcoming hardfork we will use. ETH will never be able to handle the transaction volume needed and stay decentralised.
Totally agree with everything you said! The treasury is helping small upstart projects. That is not necessarily a bad thing but it is missing what will help the most. Most upstarts fail or take years to finally prosper. Cardano should focus on helping some big players like universities, government departments, medical, etc. Showing what the technology can do for some big players will attract more big players. As you said, Max, Cardano should promote what they were building for in the first place. Get a contract with a big player by agreeing to build the Cardano connection into their system for them. Cardano gets some actual working proof of what it can do on a large scale and there is no stopping it. It will become the go-to platform for all the serious companies that want to transition to blockchain technology.

Some great points you made here. I agree with most of it. Except 2 things:
1. "Cardano will not beat Ethereum in it's game" -> It is Ethereum who is trying to play Cardano's game. They had an early start and Cardano just sucks at marketing. But in the technology race Ethereum is follower.
2. Price go up is not what Cardano is about. Yes price will rise but the effect of having a Cardano adopted in the way you described will be so much more valuable for humanity than just price.

Just got in crypto a couple of weeks ago and most of this was Greek to me. There's certainly a bit of of a learning curve. I'll have to catch up..
Cardano gonna go up anyway but for many of us its appeal is that it’s doing something different than others. No alt should be your whole portfolio but when you think of what diversification even means, have an honest look at what all these coins and tokens are offering and if it’s really different from anything else. ADA has community so sometimes it pumps strong but it’s not just a meme coin and it provides something different that may turn out to be very important in time.
Or not! Never ever marry an alt!

All of this is fun and cool, but the creator himself said he doesn’t care about “price go up”. I know A LOT of ADA holders like to say “I care about Cardano” when all they care about is price. I do agree the project needs better marketing but its mission AND vision is very clear and has been for years. Whether people want to act like it isn’t is up to them. At this point they might as well be broken records saying the same thing over and over😂. My money is safe on the chain, no down time, no crazy hacks or VC manipulation, I’m fine with this.
