Dam-good! But this just goes to show that Damon didn't find his true calling until he started going for the 1980s-vintage gear....that '90s drum machine (maybe an Alesis SR-16?) doesn't have the SWAGGER of the Oberheim DMX.
Compare this to other Dām-FunK songs uploaded to TH-cam, such as: "Santa Ana Condition" "Easy" "Left Alone" or "The Crown" and see if you can find those on any other streaming service. The reason you can't is because this is an unreleased recording from the 1990s. And in case you didn't know, Dam has tons of unreleased material, not only from the 90s, but the 2000s and 2010s as well. There may come a time when Dam decides to release some of his older music, either through Bandcamp or his label Glydezone Recordings or something else entirely, but for now, this is the only place to listen to it. If you're curious about Dam's beginnings as an artist, there's also a collection that was released by Stones Throw called "Adolescent Funk" which includes music from even before this song was recorded.

It's indeed part of Dâm-Funk's early, unreleased material. He's got at least two other great unreleased tracks, that can only be found on youtube: " Mysterious Roadz' and 'A Beautiful Day'.
DāM-FunK has stated recently that "Adolescent Funk II" is coming soon. Maybe once you've heard some of what's on that, you'll change your mind about this not being his music.
