I now look forward to the podcast as much as the other show each Saturday. It is really cool to hear the, "behind the scenes", perspective. Keep up the great work.
This was your best podcast yet. Its true that with your show on youtube you have become some kind of Rock Stars of this hobby. You guys are all charismatic and I can see how people wants to meet you in real life. Your youtube show becomes some real entertainment for people into this hobby and speaking for myself, for exemple I prefer to watch your show than checking whats up on netflix. Keep up the good stuff!
I hope you have a guest list book that people can sign from different areas and also may put in their what it is. They really collect that might be kind of a cool piece to have in the store.
PLEASE post the toyline you guys made. I'd love to see photos/video of everything you guys came up with! Btw, do you have kitbashers who come in looking for some of the incomplete stuff you guys have that are a bit "less than" the showroom/complete things? I know I've been to dealers and stores where I'm looking for a donor figure for one project or another. Keep rockin', guys! I hope someday to make it to the shop and the toy show.
I'm in CA and the idea of visiting has crossed my mind. A testament to the shop/show and how down to earth you guys come off! Eatin' it up! 🤘 I'd love to see a show with all your kitbash figs. The names alone were on point!
Another awesome discussion guys! Love the figures you created and names. Sir Noble? Leg Day? lol. I was disappointed in Stranger Things too. Why didn’t they get a vintage Falcon? Totally took me out of the scene when I realized it was the wrong era. Ryan, you and I have a lot of similarities. I’m always picking up garbage when I go for a walking my neighborhood. Want it to look nice :). Can’t wait to see what you talk about next week.
this was my childhood. actually working on hip joints right now! haven't kit bashed for a while. making my own parts.!! thanks for sharing. very inspirational. i'd like to see all your creations. please share if you have pictures or the figures.

love the show. see if you could get the game shop owner to come on one of the podcasts to talk about some stories with you guys related to the toy shop.
I’m from Oregon and watch you guys all the time and would love to stop into the shop. Your guys channel brings so much light to everyone that watches and allows for us adults to still continue our collections. Thank you.
😂 I was the one that came in for the Taiwan Webstor. I got way too excited when I heard that. Love both channels and Retro. Thanks for having a great shop.
Serious question i think yall should consider for your next one and im super curious of is... do you get tired of seeing a figure or a line coming into the store? Love the podcast got me back into collecting keep killing it!
You should do a outline of what you are going to talk about and put a 55 inch TV in the back ground, so the camera man can bring up pics of what you are talking about on a laptop or ipad.
Wife and I are driving from MD down to Joefest in June and planned to stop at the shop on the way home on Sunday then saw that you're closed. We'll definitely spend some time at your booth to find some good stuff.
Watched a coin video and stumbled on your page. Awesome content, so drawn to it even though I’m a 2000s kid who still wants his Hulk fists lol. Keep up the great work.
I love the Saturday morning videos more than anything but these pod casts are great! I really feel like I'm getting to know you guys. Especially interested in hearing from Andy more. From day one I saw BIG similarities between myself and Ryan. Then seeing that Travis is an artist, I think I see a lot of myself in him too. Now hearing more about Andy, I feel like the three of you may be myself divided into three separate forms. 🙂Really hoping I can stop by the shop this summer.
Great podcast today. I said this on the other video but I would love to be able to watch more videos from your show. I wish you done more videos a week because the shows are awesome
I came there from nj to visit my niece in college at Furman. After watching your channel i decided to travel with expendable toys. I saw that you were paying fair prices for goods. Up til then i never sold a thing. I ended up using the trade to buy a haslab skystriker qnd vintage skystriker for my brother-in-law. I can’t wait to come there again. Keep up the great content.
33:55 ain’t that the damn truth! Lmao I can’t tell you how many times that’s happened to me. I’m like i can’t be a completionist on everything. I’ll just get the main guys… then it’s ok, there’s only 5 bad guys so I’ll get them too… then it’s variants.. or it’s ones that look really cool… then it’s the vehicles.. then you’re down to having like 60% of the line and you’re like well i might as well just go all in at this point lol. It’s the best and the worst 😂 Also, those names you guys came up with are incredible lol. I feel like that whimsical nature is missing a lot in toys these days, that’s why we are seeing 90% of new toys are just remakes of old toys.

Loving the original show and podcast a lot. I am curious what do you guys do with all the large hulls or play sets that are so damaged they can’t be repaired and are already stripped of parts. Do they just sit in the back or do you try to get rid of them since they will never be good enough for the shop? I have always wondered what you guys do with unsalvageable stuff if that makes sense
That's amazing how vintage toy shops just show up, or folks don't see them. Being in Wisconsin. I have a wonderful shop in Madison called Meep Meepleton. that is fantastic, and my old home town Sheboygan has Freaktoyz, Very large place! and I don't recall the name but I know green bay has a nice one. I wonder if there are any great reddit posts showcasing local toy shops.
I remember Ryan telling me about this once but not that they made custom figures, haven't seen the movie but if someone wants to hit me with the title I'll put it on the list. The figures looks pretty good btw, let's I'd back em if ya'll wanted to do a kickstarter to mass produce a few thousand and I'm sure there's other folks who would. Rad Rex would be a pretty good name for the dinosaur one imo.
I hope the Righteous Gemstones guys need you one day. Everything Danny McBride does is awesome and he likes to film in South Carolina. They need to do some religious toy merchandising in show.
