Tried it today...at 9:39, passed yesterday's low, at 9:54 bullish candle closed under ema, took the trade at 1.2 and 3 candles later took profit! Exactly as you said Jerremy, thanks! Back tomorrow.
Jeremy, not everyone can teach. You can. My bromance with you is ongoing!😂😂😂 What I truly like and appreciate about your teaching style is that you TAKE YOUR TIME and explain things slower. Most youtubers are talking so fast, you miss what they are saying and have to rewind repeatedly and they still don't make the point or close the gap in the misunderstanding of their concepts and strategies. 90% of them do this. Thanks again! I am using the 10 EMA and have to work on it some more, but I like the simplicity of this strategy.
I've been trading a long time, still nowhere near the level I want to be (unfortunately my A.D.D. requires I endure additional round-trips through a buzzsaw and mental anguish before I'm able to finally instill absolute dicipline in real-time). This is the first time learing about or watching Jeremy's channel and I can tell from years of consuming other YT trade channels full of jokers with 2 years of trading experience, 3 Lambos, and a magical indicator that Jeremy's style, quality of detailed info provided and crystal clear way of laying out the strategies from start to finish is a needle in the haystack on YT. Looking forward to catching more!
This was great. I've used the 3min 10EMA system in the past. I don't think I heard the 'wait til the low or high of the previous day is broken. I love how this opens the door to trading gaps. As we know, stocks that are gapping are moving! I promise to give this TSLA Titan trade it's due. Thanks again for your generosity! I've already begun to pay it forward :)
I woke up late today, TSLA did this exact move above yesterday's high. I felt the momentum, used the strategy and doubled my money. It's gap filling now. Amazing.
So... for fun this morning I backtested this strat over the last 30 days on ToS (which is all that is available using the 3 minute chart on their platform). But I didn't pay ANY attention to the prior day. The only thing I used was the FIRST bullish/bearish that closed on the opposing side of the 10 ema. The top of the bearish candle was the trigger to go long. Stop was placed exactly below that candle. The take profit was END OF DAY. Everything was reversed for the bullish candle. It triggered fairly quickly off the open so there wasn't a lot of waiting. So the play obviously triggered every day for 30 days but the win rate was only 43% , a TOTAL disappointment!! The total losses from the 17 losers was just around $25.00, so about an average of about $1.47 per loser. Good grief! But.... the measly 13 winners had surprise in store... their total was $77.00, or an average of around $6.00 per winner. 30 trades isn't a huge sample size but dang... that was surprise ending.
Do you ever mix in NVDA, AAPL, AMZN, AMD when TSLA is not behaving? It's the mechanical system that matters right? If it sets up on TSLA it should set up on NVDA? Does the 10 ema work on NVDA? The only other criteria is how much does NVDA move daily? It's the system you're specializing in. Not necessarily the instrument.
@@KenLahne2 yes, the strategy and approach does work on NVDA or AMD.
