रोमियों 6:22-23 में पौलुस हमें सिखाते हैं कि जब हम येशु मसीह पर विश्वास करते हैं, तो हम पाप से मुक्त हो जाते हैं और परमेश्वर के दास बन जाते हैं। पाप से आज़ादी हमें पवित्रता की ओर ले जाती है, जिसका परिणाम अनन्त जीवन है। इसका मतलब है कि जब हम मसीह के पीछे चलते हैं और उसकी शिक्षाओं का पालन करते हैं, तो हम केवल अपने वर्तमान जीवन में ही नहीं, बल्कि अनन्त जीवन के लिए भी आशीष प्राप्त करते हैं।
