Best part of the footage is that Dubov and Nepo were having a great laugh about something just a few seconds before this game started. Nepo had no idea what Dubov had in store for him. Nepo must have been thinking "Come on man, weren't we just friends...?"
In the actual game, Dubov and Nepo were smiling and laughing before it started. But Nepo continued laughing and smirking through the whole game, whereas Dubov was straight business after move 1.
In all seriousness if Dobuv does before “Tal but computer accurate” we could have matches in the future where he starts basically beating everyone no matter who they are, Like Tal’s run where he was destroying everyone around him.
He can. But. With R×f6 would be trading the White queen and the f-pawn for a rook and a bishop. Better for black - not that much, but better. However... Nepo would get rook A on the open D-file (threatening Rd8 and win the remaining h-rook) and still would have the F-rook threatening the Black queen, on the semi open f-file, x-raying the Black King. Risky.
Me in the "pause the video" moment: Hm, the Knight is hanging. I'd just capture it but that doesn't seem very Dubovian. I should probably look for some spectacular, seemingly nonsensical sacrifice Agad: The Knight is hanging, Dubov just captured it Me: Oh
Me: Super proud of guessing the pause the video moment and soon becoming the level of a GM Also me: paused the video for 30 minutes to determine the best move and realizing this is a blitz game where the entire game was played in less than 3 minutes... 😒
I know i might be missing something thing but, at 7:07 the bishop can capture at F2 with the check, rook captures at F2 and black rook captures queen at D1 with the check. The black queen under threat can maneuver easily!!!!!! Someone care to explain pls
I ran it through lichess, and while you can win the queen that way, you get a position of two rooks and two minors vs one queen as black's rook is essentially trapped, leaving white with something like +9 and paralyzing black
Remember the bishop has just captured a piece on c6. Now Bf2+ Rxf2 gives up a piece and attacks the Black queen. And after all the exchanges white is just up a piece
Stockfish gives White a huge advantage if White plays this. It gives 20.Rxf2 Rxd1+ 21.Rxd1 Qg4 22.Rd7 bxc6 23.Rfxf7+ Kg8 24.Rfe7 Kf8, and the material is pretty close, and White has a winning attack against the Black king. It gives the move played in the game as Black's best.
It’s a difficult line for black to play with the king awkwardly in the middle and kingside rook that still needs to be activated but should be survivable
Wow tight game White ended up in a tough situation at the end never seemed to get over the obstacles Black was throwing at him Good Game much thanks I watch these videos sometimes it helps because even though I like playing Chess I get anxiety having to compete since I hate losing there’s always pressure to win These Games your videos are a Relaxing Distraction and also one can pick up moves watching these Game Enjoy your Chess Everyone
then Rxf2... Now both queens are attacked and also hanging so effectively after all exchanges it's all but up a pawn ... But in blitz being up pawn can't always win you games especially if you dn't have time on clock you should take extra risks to win
I think you can just capture with the Rook on f2, threatening the queen. And if Rd8 x Qd1 you simply recapture with the Rook on a1 - threatening the Rook on h8 and also keeping the Queen in danger.
Does anybody know what happened between Nepo vs Giga Quparadze, why websites say it was a win for Giga, although the final position is much better for Nepo (almost resignable)?
Dubov and Nepo is the hipsters choice award. floppy hair, lucky t-shirts, tea and coffee, cats walking across the screen, all combined with insanely fun chess!
Morozevich and Dubov might be the only two modern players that could match Tal back in his days(probably including prime Shirov but he’s an IM shredder and he’s getting pretty old and cautious in his playstyle)
Dubov's games uplifts my chess spirit, what an inspirational GM
Much better than his nemesis Dontbov
LOL
😒😒
More decisive than his acquaintance: Maybov
Dubov does what Nintendon't
get this man a price
Dubov is my favourite player, his games just has something extra.
Dubov moves are always dubious and that's why i love his game .
Dubovious
I will be leaving now. Have a nice day.
Dubovious
Never a boring game from Dubov
I love Dubov's playstyle. It's so savage.
Best part of the footage is that Dubov and Nepo were having a great laugh about something just a few seconds before this game started. Nepo had no idea what Dubov had in store for him. Nepo must have been thinking "Come on man, weren't we just friends...?"
...and how do you know *that* ? ~_~
Daniil moved his pieces so smoothly and elegant, so chill
My favorite part of this video was when Dubov said ABRACADABRA and actually does real magic
Dubov is a joy to watch... I wonder what Nepo was thinking on that Q move that hangs the knight
He probably thought he’d be able to recapture with the pawn since the rook on 8th rank was undefended.
he was thinking "f***, my clock"
When agad said 'last year' I thought it was an old game but then realised that last year was just a few days ago 😂
In the actual game, Dubov and Nepo were smiling and laughing before it started. But Nepo continued laughing and smirking through the whole game, whereas Dubov was straight business after move 1.
Nothing is better than seeing agadmator that too a dubov game after completing one long study session
I have followed your channel for some time, and you are just brilliant. Thanks for educating me in chess. Keep on with the videos, just great.
Great Work Agadmator! Thank you very much for this masterpiece!
I'm a simple chess lover
I see dubov. I click instantly
Oh man, I suggested it in your last video. I am so glad. Thank you, Agad!
After few moves Dubov started to calculate which restaurant or bar to hit that night.
in this tournament Mikhail Tal just blessed Daniil Dubov. The way of his playing is just magnificent
"Queen wiggling". Pretty daring stuff for a family show.
In all seriousness if Dobuv does before “Tal but computer accurate” we could have matches in the future where he starts basically beating everyone no matter who they are, Like Tal’s run where he was destroying everyone around him.
At 7:07, why can't Dubov play Bxf2 followed by Rxd1 immediately?
Was also wondering this.
Black queen will also be hanging ih this variation, because white will take the bishop with the rook
Qxf2
Rxf2
He can.
Risky.
Dubov vs Nepo is never dull
Dubov’s probably very well prepared against Nepo (more so than others) given he was on magnus’s team preparing for the last wcc. Great game by him.
Time ran out before Ian's move could reach the server.
I have tried to play like Dubov and so far I'm doing pretty good... only lost 300 rating points
I'm in negative ratings now 💀
Im making insanely crazy sacrifices. Im just having problems with winning after the sacrifice. Thats a tough step
Ah fellows elo gambiter gathered here
Dubov content is always welcome
"Doo wap, wap, doo wap, doo bop, badda bop" Dubov dappa woppa doo ..
lol 🤣
Thanks to this video, I am now addicted to those chessbaseindia's game footages. :) :D
It would be better if the time would be included always so we can see them like in the game
Check Out the First Link in Rente description, ist really cool seeing Them playing
dubov is one of the legitimate successors of the legendary zukertort.
Underrated player
Cant believe it was a year ago. Felt like it was just days ago sheesh time flies fast.
At 7:00 what's wrong with Bxf2+ opening up the discovery on the queen?
Thank you for the video!
Me in the "pause the video" moment: Hm, the Knight is hanging. I'd just capture it but that doesn't seem very Dubovian. I should probably look for some spectacular, seemingly nonsensical sacrifice
Agad: The Knight is hanging, Dubov just captured it
Me: Oh
At 7:06, why not bf2 with check then take queen? I know I gotta be missing something but can't figure it out.
I thought last year means 2021. Almost forgot it is 2023 now.
Me: Super proud of guessing the pause the video moment and soon becoming the level of a GM
Also me: paused the video for 30 minutes to determine the best move and realizing this is a blitz game where the entire game was played in less than 3 minutes...
😒
Plus you are looking for a move you know is there because you have been told so :) lol other than that...much to be proud of
Dubov is my favourite player 😊
You got my view if thumbnail is dubov..
He went Dubove and below the board so fast.
Wow, this line seems really hard to figure out on the fly in blitz if you don't know it already. Great prep by Dubov.
1:54
plays bishop to d6 with check
Moves knight to d6
knight : I'm a bishop NOW!!
More precise than a HIMARS attack!
Nepo hands were start to shaking and drop a pieces of the board before power of magician Dubov.
Dubov's style of play is so cool 🔥
And it is now at move 75 that we have a completely new game
crazy prep, love the king move
01:54 "bishop" d6?
You just have to love Agad's pause the video moments
I know i might be missing something thing but, at 7:07 the bishop can capture at F2 with the check, rook captures at F2 and black rook captures queen at D1 with the check. The black queen under threat can maneuver easily!!!!!!
Someone care to explain pls
I ran it through lichess, and while you can win the queen that way, you get a position of two rooks and two minors vs one queen as black's rook is essentially trapped, leaving white with something like +9 and paralyzing black
Already several Dubov played absolutely prepared like this... Good homework on his part...
I'm proud of myself that I found the best move of taking the unguarded knight
That knight was like : Que mira bobo
this all looked like prep from dublin while it was being played. nepo was down to about a minute and dubov hadnt even used 20 seconds
Sir, can you do a video of spassky against neztmetdinov. Thank you very much for your consideration.
‘Wiggling the Queen’ 😅
The actual footage link is very welcome!
happy birthday agamotor
Didn't watch the video yet but it's dubov so i'm sure this game is fire on the board 🔥
I love you both, Thank you for playing Chess
Excellent game! Have a wonderful new year Antonio(Agadmator) sir! :) I'm a huge fan of your channel even though I don't actually play Chess! :)
I have a question: in 7:03 is it possible Bf2+ and then next move black picks up the Queen? After a few exchanges White seems to be better, isn't it?
Remember the bishop has just captured a piece on c6. Now Bf2+ Rxf2 gives up a piece and attacks the Black queen. And after all the exchanges white is just up a piece
Stockfish gives White a huge advantage if White plays this. It gives 20.Rxf2 Rxd1+ 21.Rxd1 Qg4 22.Rd7 bxc6 23.Rfxf7+ Kg8 24.Rfe7 Kf8, and the material is pretty close, and White has a winning attack against the Black king. It gives the move played in the game as Black's best.
@@GlorifiedTruth thanks, I see this now, I think it's an interesting line worth mentioning though.
why can't dubov play Bxf2 at 7:06
It’s a difficult line for black to play with the king awkwardly in the middle and kingside rook that still needs to be activated but should be survivable
I always want more Dubov
7:03 so here Dubov could play bishop takes f2+, I don't see why he can't.
And take the queen with the rook next...
Agadmator forget to mention that these two guys had a lot of fun before they started the game.
In this variation I am surprised that the following line is not popular: 6. Nxc6 bxc6 7. e5 Nd5 8. Ne4 etc.
I'm a simple man. I see Dubov I click.
YES! I WAS ASKING FOR THIS!
At 7:06 why dubov not played bf2 check and then he can capture White's queen with check
then Rxf2... Now both queens are attacked and also hanging so effectively after all exchanges it's all but up a pawn ... But in blitz being up pawn can't always win you games especially if you dn't have time on clock you should take extra risks to win
Bxf2 check, Rxf2
Rxd1(queen capture with check), Rxd1
Qc8
5:15 - White could also just castle, unpinning the knight. Seems to solve all problems as well.
I'm pretty sure it hangs a pawn if you capture with the bishop and black pushes their E pawn
Dubov said "it's duboving time" and duboved all over the chess board
Lets keep it PG vishy
Everyone is a magician until Magnus arrives.
#suggestion Egor Korelskiy vs. Petr Kostenko round 5 of the rapid section. Brilliant win for the 11 year old defeating a GM with style!
Alternative video title:
Why Magnus won the World Championship
Did alireza not play in the recent championship? I noticed you dont cover any matches anymore from him
Great game! Can we talk about the Mittens bot for minute, is that thing stronger than Stockfish???
What if ..B×f2 at 07:04?
I think you can just capture with the Rook on f2, threatening the queen. And if Rd8 x Qd1 you simply recapture with the Rook on a1 - threatening the Rook on h8 and also keeping the Queen in danger.
Hey, I actually got a pause the video puzzle right!👏👏
Does anybody know what happened between Nepo vs Giga Quparadze, why websites say it was a win for Giga, although the final position is much better for Nepo (almost resignable)?
he is something else this one
#suggestion
Match between Magnus Carlsen & Ehsan Ghaem maghami chess olympiad 2016 round 10. It features london system and some brilliancy in mid game
Collecting dropped pieces is my specialty. You didn't fool me with the PTV. Agad, you must try harder ;-)
When is the new saga beginning?
Creative Dubov!!
#suggestion Anna Cramling vs Jens Atlnas Rilton Elo 2022
HE WAS A NEW IDOL IN 21 CENTURY...RUSSIAN MUST BE HAPPY HAD THIS MAN
The Dubov Effect.
It feels so strange to hear someone say "last year" about something that happened like a week ago haha
#suggestion anna cramling 7th round at Rilton event . Crazy game
7:07 bxf2+ look good here
nvm
Man, I love Dubov
Dubov and Nepo is the hipsters choice award. floppy hair, lucky t-shirts, tea and coffee, cats walking across the screen, all combined with insanely fun chess!
Morozevich and Dubov might be the only two modern players that could match Tal back in his days(probably including prime Shirov but he’s an IM shredder and he’s getting pretty old and cautious in his playstyle)
What's with the chicken in the top right corner?
1:53 nice bishop
What is "suaa" agad always say..?
